Neg blood test but no AF

So I'm now 3 weeks late with AF, blood test came back negative even though I had faint lines on a few tests which others could see so I wasn't going crazy! Has anyone else had this? I was on the depo but only for 6 months and I had a period every month whilst on it. Was due a shot in August but didn't have it done as I thought I was pregnant due to the faint lines. Just want AF to hurry up now so I know where I am!!

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like a chemical pregnancy, where you can get a BFP at first but the pregnancy isn't viable and hormones levels don't rise as expected so blood test comes back negative. It's a horrible feeling being in limbo, sorry you are going through it Thanks

I'm so confused as I've had faint positives for 3 weeks, surely if it was a chemical I would've bled by now is does it take some time? I don't think I've ever had one before so I wouldn't know 🤷🏻‍♀️

It does sound strange. Did you ask the clinic or doctors where you had the blood test?

@Scarlett555 Well I rang them to find out the results and it was negative but that's all they said. So going to ring the docs on Monday and just explain that I still haven't come on, and that I'm also getting cramping like I'm due AF but it's just not arriving! So annoying
