TTC WORRIES

I really hope someone can shed some light on this topic for me but I'm really interested to know if anyone who has had premenstrual spotting had trouble conceiving?
I am on cycle #5 day 1 (yup the witch arrived again today) and I have had browny pink spotting for many years now around 4-5 days before my period. I've had the day 21 bloods and the day 3 bloods and apparently they were all normal, maybe they were but I'm not convinced. I've had no further testing so far.
I would love to hear anyone experience with this good or bad I'm worried it's a major reason we're not successful this far.
Oh I should say, I'm definitely ovulating, I've been temping and using opks and have a regular 28 ish day period.
Please any advice would be soooo appreciated.

Hi... sorry your having trouble... it really takes the fun out of things... have you been trying long ? Great that you got tested at day 21 please believe them when they say it looks ok. Think of the positives u know u are ovulating and your cycle is regular, this is a great start

I believe that can be a sign of low progesterone, but you'd think that would have shown up in your blood tests!

Low progesterone shouldnt stop you conceiving though but it can really affect bodies ability to maintain the pregnancy. You can get progesterone inserts once you receive a positive if needed Flowers

Thank you for the replies. It's been 5 months and while that's still very early the spotting has been something that plays on my mind. I'm hoping it's all ok and I'm just worrying for nothing but it's always nice to come to a place with like minded folk. We are going to try the SMEP method this cycle and see if we have any joy with that.

You will get there, just make sure u are having as much sex BEFORE ovulation as possible ... also if hubby finds it a chore the product wont b as strong so maybe take the pressure off him ( it's a man's world unfortunately) no oral before and maybe try some pressed??
