Hi all, I'm 33 and ttc #1. Been trying on and off for 4 years.

I've name changed to post this as don't want it linked to my other threads.

We've had such a dreadful time ttc we stopped trying for years, our sex life got so bad we only actually dtd 4 times in 2018 and the first time this year last month. It's been truly awful. I've been having very irregular periods, spotting and pmt symptoms that I didn't have before. I bleed and spot for 2 weeks at a time then won't come on for weeks on end. I'd just finished AF when we dtd last month but came on again a few days after and I'm still spotting....He struggles with ED and I have vaginal tightness so that really doesn't help as it puts us off having sex even when not ttc. He's started on the blue pills until we become regular again as he's never needed them before although has always had the odd blip. I've been using products to help me with my issue. We are desperate for a baby but all this is taking a massive toll on us.

I just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm not getting any younger. We've decided to start trying again and I'm just waiting for my spotting to stop after a particularly long AF to start again with a clean slate. Please give me some success stories against all odds and/or tips on how I can help us.

Hugs. Sounds like you are struggling Flowers

Well I got my BFP on Tuesday after two chemicals since May. I'm hoping this one is sticky.

I'm on cycle 12 and I'm 41 soon. Good luck!!

Would you maybe consider home insemination if it's difficult to actually have sex?
If you get your partner to produce some sperm and inseminating in yourself it will rake some pressure from you both and maybe even give you a better chance.
Also please see a gp regarding your periods. Ask them to prescribe norehisterone to restart your cycle. You'll need to track it so you can get your timings right.

@Michellebops I have thought about this, and I'm going to seriously consider it again if things don't improve. They must have a YouTube tutorial or 2 out there somewhere! Aside from ttc though we both want to do it, but it's this never ending cycle of every time we do I'm wincing in pain, and then after numerous attempts I think it completely puts him off and then that's it! And if it's not him, it's me! Depressing. Thanks for the medication suggestion never heard of that before - will be suggesting it to the GP
