When to start ovulation tests

I stopped taking my pill on 5th August and my first period started on 1st September. I've ordered some ovulation tests, when should I start taking them? Do I use them throughout the month or just for the few days around when I think ovulation will be? I don't know how long my cycle length is yet as I've only had one period.

@Crazymummyto3 hello, the tests usually tell you when to start using them. For instance my cycles average at about 33 days and usually ovulate at day 18. I would start testing from about day 12 onwards. Hope that helps xx
