12 DPO, POSITIVE OPK BUT ON PROGESTERONE SUPPOSITORIES

Basically what it says in the title.

I'm 12dpo, started progesterone suppositories at 3dpo and randomly I decided at 10dpo to do an OPK. Each day since then the OPK(ovulation predictor kit)has become darker and darker and yesterday and today the OPK(ovulation predictor kit)is positive.

I'm not pregnant or at least I dont think that I am but my dr placed me on progesterone 3 days after ovulation to help prevent more misscarriages.

I thought progesterone suppressed the LH surge, so how could I get a positive opk?

What are your thoughts?

Thank you

@Fuzzball84 I too have been on projesterone pessaries from the miscarriage clinic to start on cycle day 18 roughly from when I think ovulation has taken place this is for 7 days then take a test if positive continue til 16 weeks, anyway I did a test which seemed to be negative so stopped on the 7th day then day after I stopped seemed to get a period but only seems to have lasted two days and not much today. I had no idea projesterone suppressed the lh surge as I've been using ovulation tests, have wondered can they affect ovulation Tests do you know? I was placed on them as the consultant seemed to think I have a short luteal phase. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Xx
