Still bleeding after D&C in may

So I had a miscarriage in may at 9+ weeks Went into cervical shock and had to be ressucitated. I had a d&C the following day on may 29th. I stopped bleeding almost immediately. Had a totally normal period June but ever since I spot on and off sporadically. My period in July was quite black (that's the only time it's happened it's not happened since) but normal again August. Again I'm spotting on and off. It varies between bright red blood/brick coloured & light pinky brown. It seems to be more red in the mornings then tapers off through the day. Its not everyday and IV had a swab and urine test but both clear. I have an ultrasound scan on Tuesday 10th but to be honest I'm so so scared it's something sinister so looking for reassurance if anyone has any please ☹️

Hi had lots of bleeding for months after my last D&C and it turned out I had a polyp that had developed in my womb after the op. I was worried it was something more serious too, it will more likely be something like that so please try not to stress too much. Good luck x

@kdd1980 thanks so much for responding. I'm just imagining the worse as also still very eager to ttc again. Did you have the polyp removed to stop the bleeding or what did they do next, sorry for being nosey lol xx

No they gave me some tablets to stop the bleeding and they worked quite quickly, they said I can just leave the polyp there but I do worry it's stopping me from conceiving again

Thanks so much again for taking the time to respond to me! I suffer from health anxiety amongst all the other types but health more so 🤦🏻‍♀️! This is super reassuring and the kind of outcome I'm hoping for! Although I hope you do conceive without problem ❤️ xxx

@kdd1980 how's things going with TTC? IV had scans and bloods etc and got a positive test yesterday and called the doc this morning and I was offered a pill to stop the bleeding (there was mis communication about the positive test) I don't suppose you know the name of the tablets? IV tried Google and it's coming up with tranexamic would that be what you had? I'm seeing the doc on Monday but I'd rather be prepared with knowledge before I go if that makes any sense xx

Hi, yes those are the tablets. Is the positive a new one or one from the mc? I'm still
Plodding away! Been trying for 3.5 years and had 6 mc's during that time. Just got my period so hoping for better next month

Elles1980 · 13/09/2019 19:21

@kdd1980 this is a new one, the MC was in may. I only got positive yesterday but bleeding today and more like a period so I'm assuming it's a chemical 🤷🏻‍♀️? Xx
