Conception

Would having a smear make your cervix more ‘ripe’ for conception?

TTC #2. Had smear yesterday and I bled a little, I always do and it stopped yesterday evening, I’m not concerned about it. However, I’m currently in the ovulation window and according to my dates will ovulate tomorrow. We DTD today and I’m wondering if having the smear might make conception MORE likely?

Obviously wishful thinking here!

Or will my cervix be a bit more inflamed than usual and therefore less likely?

Don't think it'll make a difference either way
