Vit B6 & short luteal phase

We have been TTC for a couple of months, so it's early days, but have been tracking my cycle for about 6 months since coming off the implant by temping using Tempdrop and following the Fertility Awareness Method. I've noticed that I have a short luteal phase (9 days) and ovulate quite late (day 20).

I've been doing lots of reading (Taking Charge of your Fertility, The Fifth Vital Sign) and lots of people suggest vitamin b6 to lengthen a short luteal phase. Apparently hormonal contraceptives can leave you deficient in certain vitamins.

I've been taking Seven Seas Trying for a Baby since Feb, but switched to 100mg of b6 plus pregnacare for the last month. Immediately noticed that the end of my last cycle was different (longer) and this cycle I've ovulated on day 15, and am 5DPO. Fingers crossed it lasts!

Just wanted to share this in case it helps anyone - highly recommend The Fifth Vital Sign - it is very well researched, refers to lots of medical research, and was a real eye opener.
