ovulation question

Hello

Does your cervical mucus dry up straight after ovulation? I think I ovulated on Monday but still feel like it is wetter than normal. Wet and slippery rather than egg white though…sorry tmi

I'm wondering same @edibletreats I had EWCM on the weekend or so I thought had twinges and cramps past couple of days and water like mucus today... I have am irregular cycle but I am totally thrown now! Do you use ovulation tests?

My EWCM completely dries up afterwards. However this month I have had it reappear a few days later.

it's so confusing isn't it! I don't use ovulation strips every month and didn't this month however I do have ovulation pain so I am pretty sure I ovulated on Monday but was still have low level cramping and wetter than normal cm last night.

Yes EWCM is normal after ovulation as well as before - it's a rise in estrogen which causes it so post ovulation it's a sign that the uterus lining is thickening up to support implantation

When I was younger I believed honestly that any sex would lead to babies, who knew it would be this complex!

@Polishedpebble1 wasn't that the biggest load of cobblers!
I also now hate when tv shows show a one night stand/one off 'accident' result in pregnancy haha (although I do know of multiple real life examples where this was the case!)

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted thanks for the insight. the watery stuff has pretty much dried up now so fingers crossed until next end of next week when I can test

@edibletreats yeah I know a few one-night stand parents I can't believe now that's even possible!
