Sort of follow on from my earlier double positive opk...

Now, I think I'm driving myself insane.

Earlier I posted that this month on cd16 I had a positive opk, ewcm etc, dtd then. Assumed we'd covered ourselves. THEN I had a positive opk again today way stronger than before and I'm on Cd21 a Little ewcm but not much. So planned to dtd tonight just incase.

Today I've done two IC preg tests just to rule it out, bfn.

However, just now I thought I'd do an opk and hpt to see if the other opk was dodgy or a fluke or whatever. It got what's on the pic below. I did develop them both side by side on the worktop, so is it possible that the dye from the opk could have transferred to the hpt??
Yes I would think that's barmy if I was reading it, but I don't believe this is positive due to having only apparently ovulated on Friday, and a stark bfn only hours ago on the same tests (that and two and a half years ttc with stage 3 endo....)
I've added my opk too below, just for the sake of it.

I'm currently sat opposite my husband thinking of nothing else, while refusing to tell him until at least my period is late, but that could be two weeks away!

Oh. Also I had an internal ultrasound at the fertility clinic last Tuesday so surely that would have picked up something if this is a true positive?

Did you dip them at the same time? As in together?

It is possible for dye to run I think (search how I got a false positive pregnancy test on YouTube)
Have you got any other tests?

I don't know .....I can maybe see a line on the hcg and I'm certainly not one for giving false hope

You absolutely wouldn't see anything on an internal ultrasound at this point - thickening of the lining maybe but that's usual to see post ovulation

Same wee but totally separate dipping. I just left them side by side so maybe the dye filtered over?

I don't think it's a true positive tbh. With a scan last week, bright white tests earlier and only just past a positive opk....I don't see how it can be.

It has colour in real life. I just wish I didn't do an opk with it so I could be sure. Plus it'd be SO early, too early!

OPKs can also detect Hcg by the way - if you are 100% sure you ovulated last week then it could be a BFP - I've found that OPKs have usually detected my pregnancies before a HCG Test

And a test can go from BFN to BFP in a few hours depending on how fast hcg is rising and how diluted your urine was when you tested

I've just taken another because I'm stupid and that's negative.

I'm just going to leave it a few days. Knew it was too good to be true.

@@Pinkstars2501 you have to really to have held your wee for at least 4 hours and not to have drunk loads of fluids
