CB OPK's vs normal OPK's

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using both CB digital advanced and one step cheapies do track ovulation. Last month I had a few low fertility, some high and finally my peak. This month I'm constantly getting just low.... I know it's very possible I may not ovulate this month as I know sometimes it just doesn't occur. However, my cheapie OPK's are getting stronger by the day (I'll attach a pic of last nights)?? I don't know what answer to go with, the cheapies look like I'm gearing up to ovulate but the CB ones just show nothing...

I know the CB ones work off 2 hormones, if I missed the oestrogen rise (maybe testing too late?) does this mean that it won't work properly and I might not get a peak this month??

Confused!!

If anyone has experienced anything similar I'd be so grateful for some advice!

I have a similar issue but opposite. My CB advanced is giving flashing smilies but cheapies not getting any darker. No idea what's happening

@PerfectPear ahhh it's so annoying isn't it. I think the reason you're getting flashing smilies and negative cheapies is because the flashing smilies indicates the rise in oestrogen (I think?) and the cheapies measure The LH hormone instead. I'd keep testing with cheapies and hopefully you'll get a line soon! It's so annoying as with the cheapies you can so easily miss your surge! Hope you get a positive soon! Xx

I hope so, not sure what it means if oestrogen rises but LH doesn't. I'm testing as often as I can with the cheapies. Can't test while at work though. Hopefully yours will show a positive soon. Some people don't seem to get the flashing smilies so maybe you'll just get a static. What cycle day are you?

I had this problem last month with cheap opk showing the levels were rising but wasted all my CB ones for no smiley face. This month I tested earlier and used Premom app and when it showed a peak I used my last CB stick to confirm a positive. I think the CB ones maybe aren’t as sensitive unless it’s a peak
