Has anyone used soy insoflavones to help ovulation?

I'm 28 and I have suspected PCOS. I've had 2 scans of the last few years which has shown multiple cysts on my ovaries. I've had blood tests which has come back on - but these were taken randomly during my cycle so I'm disregarding them. II also have horribly long cycles, often around the 40 day mark. I've been ttc for a few months but no joy so I've been speaking to some lovely ladies on her who suggested taking this supplement.
My question is what dosage and where do I get it from?
Has anyone used it personally or heard anything about it?
With no official diagnosis (as my doctors are useless!!!!!!!!) is this safe as a natural remedy?

Thank you so much!

I would like to know about this too 🙂

@PerfectPear I've read some amazing things and with it being a supplement it's all natural :) do you have PCOS or suffer with difficult cycles?

I have endometriosis with long and irregular cycles. Currently day 80 with no sign of AF. I don't think I'm ovulating

Just stopping by to say I have pcos and currently on CD124 :( - 4 months without a period!

@KronksSpinachPuffs oh my goodness that must be SO frustrating and SO disheartening for you!! Are you ttc at the moment? Have you tried these soy supplements? I've read some unbelievable things about them online! I really hope you manage to get something sorted :(

@november90 no not yet, just trying to get everything in check before we ttc in the new year! I already read all the posts on the conception board so God knows how I'll be when we actually start!

Doesn't look hopeful at the moment tho in terms of my obvious lack of ovulation, but luckily I've got plenty of time as I'm only in my 20s.

Yeah I think in the last couple of months of this year I'm going to start on vitamins and I've looked into the soy isoflavones too!

fallingasleeprightnow · 03/09/2019 21:23

@november90 soy isoflavones are not recommended for ladies with pcos.

I used them on 4 cycles - second cycle of use I fell pregnant but miscarried. I'm not convinced they helped really and they delayed my ovulation by quite a bit.
