Early miscarriage

Hi all. Well I have had a miscarriage at just over 5 weeks, now my tests are showing straight negative, so it's all cleared out. How do I know now when will I ovulate and have my period? Anyone had a similar experience and can advise? I really do not want to go opk and temping route just yet. My periods were very regular before the mc, bang on 27 days every time.
Advice please!

I havent suffered mc but I would think it may take a little longer to get regulated again and then again maybe not. If u dont want to track temp and ov. Maybe look for signs for cervical mucus changes. I do see awful difference in mine during fertile window and ovulation.

Hi @Katie1109 I'm so sorry for what's happened. I had a mc 1 Aug at 6+4 and then I ovulated CD16, and actually got pregnant again. So it is possible! I'm now 4+5. Wishing you all the best

I've had this a few times, the first day of bleeding was like the first day of a period and my cycle started 28 days after as expected. Good luck next month Thanks

I had this at the beginning of June and counted the first day of proper bleeding as cd 1 and I ovulated 1 day later than usual and luckily caught again that cycle and am now 13+4
If you use opks or anything like that to predict ovulation I'd say carry on with that and hopefully you won't be too far off your normal cycle. 🤞🏻 for you and here if you need to talk

I had a MMC in June I believe I had my period a week after the D and C I then had a normal period 28 days later and from I’ve had my MMC my periods have been earlier than they ever were and this month I got my first positive opk on CD 10. I would say it took me two cycles to try and work out ovulation as the D and C did seem to affect my cycle

Thank you everyone for the support. Well I counted first day of MC bleed as CD1, so I should ovulate today, but not feeling any pains apart from little twinges last night. We did not DTD, so if I do ovulate today, yesterday was probably a missed chance. I've heard that DTD on the day of ovulation is not very effective at all, or is it?

@Katie1109 you might be delayed by a day or a few (everyone is different) dtd when you can but no I'm sure on the day and a couple after is also good. Not sure if better before but not missed the window 🤞🏻
