Light brown discharge 6/7 days before af...

So I'm 11DPO, but still 6/7 days away frlm AF as my luteal phase is slightly longer (cycles around 31/33 days usually). Last night I had strong-ish af like twinges/pulls, enough to make me stop what I was doing but only lasted a few seconds, and I've just experienced creamy/light brown discharge, which is very unsual for me this early on in the cycle. Had BFN this morning but should I still remain hopeful..? What're your current experiences?

I wouldn’t get excited just yet.
I had 2-3 days of bleeding and heavy white discharge last cycle and got a BFN. AF arrived about a week later

@Silenceissilver thanks good to know, I'm not excited per se, just unusual for me to have this as my cycles are very regular, good to hear others experiences
