Early ovulation?

Hi ladies,

A little confused with this months cycle - usually ovulate on day 14/15. Last month i had what i think was a chemical pregnancy, i am now on cycle day 5 (last day of period) and took an ovulation test just to see and it is nearly positive.

My question is - can a CP cause early ovulation?

I sometimes get a mini LH surge just after my period but the real thing is usually around CD14-17

Thanks for your response @polkadotpixie - will continue to use OPKs to see whether it was an after period surge or the real thing
