Pregnancy test not getting darker

Hi!

I'm 12 DPO. I got a very faint line on a first response test at 10dpo, at 11dpo it was slightly darker/clearer, but today it is no darker. It's not lighter- but the same as 11dpo.
Yes, I'm probably over testing and testing too soon but I'm so worried the fact it hasn't got darker today means the worst.
All over the internet are pics of people's tests getting darker each day.
I don't know when my period is due as it's my first month back off the pill. One app says I'm due tomorrow and another app says I'm due in 2 days.

Does anyone have any advice or positive stories where their tests have been faint for a while?

Thanks

I believe your HCG levels double every 48-72 hours. If AF doesn’t arrive, test again in a couple of days.

Yes I agree, I've read it doubles every 48-72 hours so maybe wait a couple of days before testing again? Good luck!

@HappyGirl86 I had the same issue and never got the "progression" you see all over the internet! I used the clear blue digi which showed progression after a week, but my FRERs all looked exactly the same - I'm 8w 5d now and everything has progressed as it should 😊 my advice would be to put the FRERs away and try a CB in a couple of days, testing everyday is going to drive you crazy! Good luck and congrats on your BFP
