Faint blue line - testing early

Hello, help please! I’m 2 days til AF but on a weekend away so thought I better test early yesterday. I’m TTC #3 and I was losing hope this month but a couple of days ago started getting cramps, not similar to my usual PMS cramps, a funny taste in my mouth and just exhausted really. Anyway, I took a CB early detection test and got a faint line - I’m not too sure that I just want to see it so much that I’m convincing myself it’s there..... can anyone help? Thank you xx

Hi @beckyj86 blue dye tests are apparently notorious for giving false positives/evaporate lines, etc. Grab a FRER if you can, that should give you a definite answer. Good luck 🤞🏼 x

@Each2TheirOwn - thank you - that doesn’t sound optimistic but fingers crossed! I literally grabbed what seemed the best available in the supermarket. A little inexperienced with evaporation lines etc, would that not usually show up towards the end of the testing window? I’m a new user and it won’t let me post a photo!

Hi, not to get u disheartened or anything but this was my faint 'positive' clear blue test....... I was 10 days late, got really excited..... then AF turned up the following day.
Just don't want u to feel as gutted as I did. Fingers crossed urs turns out to be a BFP x
