Anti Depressants while TTC?

Hi everyone

It's a bit of a hard topic to approach, but I wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation. A few months ago I was prescribed a small dosage of sertraline to help with my anxiety and over stressing. They have helped me massively and I feel much better already. My partner and I have decided to start trying for a baby very soon which I'm so excited about and can't wait for our own little bundle. I don't feel reliant on my anti depressants and I don't worry about coming off of them, but I'm not sure how it works. Are you able to carry on taking them through pregnancy or do you have to gradually stop before you even try to conceive? Any advice would be great.

Thanks

There are some anti depressants that are ok in pregnancy but most aren't - I would come off them before ttc

Hi @kylieeee I'd go and see your doctor there are medications you can be on when pregnant and it's important your health is looked after. Coming off them is a gradual process and your doctor will advise you better xxx
