AF 2 days late, BFN, off the pill 2 months

So I stopped the pill on 1st July to TTC baby number 2, had my normal withdrawal then a period on 30th July lasting 4 days. I calculated I should have started my period yesterday but no sign. I took a clear blue digital test with my FMU and it said not pregnant. Any one else had a similar experience? I've had really tender breasts the last week too.

I think periods can be a bit all over the place after coming off birth control. Mine didn’t come for 6 weeks after my coil was removed. My dr said to wait 6 weeks after and if nothing came then to do pregnancy test and then if that was negative go back and see her which I was just about to do and then it arrived that day!

Yes I've had similar! My periods have ranged from 27-30 days since coming off the pill. Had 3 cycles of 27 days before a cycle of 30 so I was really excited by that 30 day cycle lol!!

When I came off the pill I fell pregnant in month 1 so it's certainly possible. When I was late I got a negative test but my period still didn't come. I got the faintest of positives when I was an week late. I'm guessing I ovulated later.

Also clear blue digital tests take a higher amount of hcg to get a positive result. You're better off with a first response test.

Thank you for your replies. Today is CD 32 and still no AF but I've had quite a lot of white discharge yesterday and today. I may test again tomorrow. X

My cycles are usually 34 days and I am currently 3 days late. We've been trying since June (I was on the pill for 10 years).

I had a feeling this month was my month which I know sounds crazy! I had the strangest cramps a couple of days past ovulation (tested ovulation using OPK) which I first put down to endometriosis but then on the same day I had the slightest spotting which I noticed as a I had wiped when I'd been for a wee (sorry for TMI)

I naughtily tested a day before AF was due and was a BFN, tested yesterday with an early response test and BFN, tested again today and BFN (pattern forming here) my husband keeps telling me to chill and to wait a week but I'm just so excited and very impatient!

Thanks for your response, so good to have someone in the same boat as me! It's so tricky as I've only had one cycle since stopping the pill so don't have much to compare it to. With my first baby I didn't even have a period before I fell pregnant so this is all new to me! My husband is saying exactly the same to me. Keep in touch and let me know how you get on. X

Hi guys, I'm in the same boat too. Stopped the mini pill a few months back and had several periods (28-30 day cycles)

Im now on day 43!! I have done a few tests and all BFN :( but can I really be this late and no positives in sight?? Trying to hold out till next week to test again is still no period in sight!!

So I'm now on CD 33, took another test this morning BFN. Don't really know what to do anymore! X

@KateF1107 @River5675 I'm not testing til Monday, hoping I can resist! How annoying for us. I hope our bodies sort themselves out soon!

AF arrived on Sunday evening! So back on it in a few days time! Fingers crossed fir better news in September! X

Still no AF.....still getting BFN
