TTC no2 since I was 38, I’m almost 40 now and getting upset it will never happen.

I’ve been using Poundland opk to track ovulation. I’ve only got a really good positive once this was quite early and I put it in my tracker app and now it’s bumper up all my fertile days to very soon after AF. September looks like this pic.

My questions are 1. Does this look within the realms of normality? And 2. Should I get better opk sticks? Any recommendations? The clear blue digital ones have mixed reviews so I’m unsure if they are worth the money.

I should add I’ve been to the docs and he’s happy that ovulation is happening but the tests didn’t say when, just that it had happened.

Hi, sorry if I haven’t read the app right, but it looks like you are due to ovulate on the 13th day of a 28 day cycle? The date that is always quoted as average is day 14 so it doesn’t look too far out?
I use the amazon cheap opks and use an app to help me “grade” them into low, high and peak.

Sorry if I’ve misinterpreted any of your calendar, they all look so different!

@CouscousEvaporator you’ve read it right. My cycle is 26 days though normally. Does that make any difference? I’m happy to be told it looks normalish. I’m just trying to maximise my chances. I’ve been staring at it for so many months I’ve lost touch with reality a bit so wanted the mumsnet wisdom.

I've been ttc for 20 months so have used a lot of ovulation test strips! The best ones are the wondfo ones on amazon. Better than the one step amazon ones. I used to spend a fortune on clear blue but it's just not necessary!

@seven201 thanks for the tip, I’ve just ordered some. Fingers crossed for us both.
