Pre seed - recommendations

Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise. I use a lubricant currently and have read that I should use pre seed if TTC. If I google, a number of different products come up. Are they all the same? (And oh my word is it expensive!)
Thanks in advance.

I bought Conceive Plus online - May be cheaper than Pre Seed brand?

Just search for pre seed on Amazon, it’s pretty clear which is the legitimate branded pre seed :) it’s about £9.

It’s not magic fluid, it doesn’t help conception, it’s just more sperm friendly than other lubricants such as KY Jelly, fewer sperm are killed off by it. If you don’t usually need lube you won’t improve your chances using it.

If you do get it, don’t bother with the applicator, it’s a ridiculous contraption and deposits waaaaaaaay more than you need in there, literally it’ll be leaking out and your OH won’t feel a thing it’ll be so slippery. Just squeeze a normal amount out onto your fingers like a regular lube and apply as you generally would.

I conceived 4 times with conceive plus. Mc due to age unfortunately..

No joy with pre-seed, used a whole tube. Hit the jackpot 1st time with conceive +, bought it off Amazon. I imagine they're all the same though!

I've used pre seed and conceive plus and would recommend both

I've used both PreSeed and Conceive Plus. They're both fine but I prefer Conceive Plus as it's less sticky

I conceived first month with pre seed. But that’s purely anecdotal. It just won’t harm your chances like other lubes will. Of course if I hadn’t conceived for a year then used conceive plus, or vice versa, I’d attribute the success to the lube I used at the time. I’m sure both are equally beneficial, what matters is to use a fertility friendly lube of whatever brand if you’re going to use lube.

Thank you so much everyone for your replies. I hadn't understand that pre seed is a brand, so it makes much more sense now. Thanks for the advice too about the applicator. I've ordered both pre seed and conceive plus online and will just see which I prefer. Thanks so much everyone.
