Hi guys

I am 4 weeks with my first baby, just wondering what if anything symptoms people have had/having this early on?

I get worried about things easily so I'm trying to relax but just wondered! So far I have sore boobs crampy pains, feeling sick on and off, hot and abit dizzy. I'm most worried about cramps I believe they are normal and they aren't as bad as period but it's always a worry isn't it!

Thankyou for any replies 😘

Hi @Emmaaa1990
Congratulations !
I just had my BFP on Saturday and am also really anxious and on edge as it's my first baby too x

Symptoms wise I've had nausea on and off , heartburn and cramps . The cramps have eased a little now .

Have you booked your GP appt yet?
When are u due ? x

Emmaaa1990 · 29/08/2019 08:55

@Lifesforlivingandloving Thankyou! Congratulations to you too!

It's so scary isn't it! I just don't want anything to go wrong! The cramps feel like less painful period pains so I keep checking for blood like a mad woman! Haha

Mad isn't it that we can feel symptoms early! I'm 4 weeks how far along are you?

I haven't yet no I've read up between 8-12 but I think I'd like an early scan too! If my dates are correct should be early May how about you? X

I've just got a BFP too and I'm exactly the same.
First baby and we had been trying for 18 months 🙈 I'm 4 weeks aswell, due early May 🤞🏻👶🏻

Everything worries me at this stage, I think it'll get better as time passes x

Hi all, I had my BFP Sunday and Monday, but no symptoms at all other than brownish light spotting from time to time (sorry tmi). I think my areolas are a bit darker too. Other than that I wouldn't know I'm pregnant. My last period was 21st July so it would make me 5 weeks and 5 days x I'm a bit worried about no symptoms though and it's my first pregnancy too! Got my appointment booked for next week x congratulations all x

Emmaaa1990 · 29/08/2019 10:07

@AmzLouxo @Katie1109 aww congratulations to you both! We are all baby buddies!

Happy I'm not the only one worrying! I guess it's normal to be anxious isn't it!

Everyone is so different as well so some people have symptoms early and some have none. It's a worrying time until the scan isn't it. My partner keeps pestering me to take the digital test I have as well but im scared to haha! X

Congratulations!! I had awful tiredness and even worse cramping. I couldn't believe how an embryo would be able to survive in such a (for me) painful environment. The embryo is now 14 months old. Just take it easy, relax as much as possible. It is the scariest time ever, but it doesn't get any better once their out 🙈 I always say to people, the worry starts from the day you get that second line and it never stops until the day you die. 😂 I hope everything works out for you all.

@Emmaaa1990

Hiya. Yeah it's so surreal
And I've been worried about every twinge - I expect that's normal to worry as we've never experienced this before

According to online calculator I will be due around 1st of May.
My doctor won't see me as it's all self referral now - so I've done that but I insisted to my doctor that I wanted a blood test to confirm the pregnancy so I had that done yesterday so am awaiting the results x

Emmaaa1990 · 29/08/2019 18:41

@Peanutty86 ah Thankyou!! That puts my mind at ease!

Having lots of twinges and yeah I'm also tired but not sleeping too well! I am now weeing more and lot of watery discharge 🙈

Thankyou for your kind words 😘

@Lifesforlivingandloving oh please let us know how you get on! Hope everything is all good! Yeah mine reckons 5th May 👍🏼 x

@Emmaaa1990
Will do ! Thank you

I can't sleep either! Maybe it's coz we're too excited. ?! 🤭 xxx

Peanutty86 · 29/08/2019 19:40

Oh yeah, lots and lots of discharge. Forgot about that. And the weeing.... we went on honeymoon to Mauritius when I was 22 weeks and I had to have an aisle seat on every flight because I needed to loo every half an hour. Oh and I had actual pregnancy insomnia from around 6-12 weeks where I'd come home from work and fall asleep on the sofa and then be awake from 3-5am. It's all worth it though!!

Emmaaa1990 · 29/08/2019 21:43

@Lifesforlivingandloving least we are not alone at! Haha I think we must be! It's all new and exciting isn't it 😊

@Peanutty86 yeah I am constantly thinking I'm bleeding but luckily not just watery wetness 😂 sounds so gross I am sorry 🙈
Haha it sounds like such a magical time doesn't it! It's so nice to know other people have been or are now in the same situation!
Makes me feel better 😊 xx
