AF late but BFN

Hi everyone, just after a bit of advice. I came off cerelle after 10 years in May. I had a tiny bit of dark bleeding a few weeks after, and finally AF arrived on 1st August. It lasted 5 days and seemed like things were back to normal.

I had positive OPKs on 13th and 14th and BD'd lots around then. According to my cycle tracker AF was due again a couple of days ago... but nothing! And I have had several BFNs. Anyone had anything similar? I've tried to book in at my GP but been told the next non-urgent appointment is in 4 weeks!

I had exactly the same, I was also on cerelle and when I came off I had a withdrawal bleed after four weeks. I am usually a regular 28 day cycle but the first cycle after the withdraws bleed was 40 days, I went two weeks over. The same as you I took pregnancy tests and all negative. It was such a stressful time. However my period did come and I’m sure yours will too. I’ve just literally ended my second cycle, it was 26 days so the timings seem to be regulating. I hope this helps a little, it certainly seems to take a little while for cycles to get back to normal however I’ve heard that you may still ovulate while you wait for your period so keep DTD and maybe test once a week until you get a BFP or your period arrives.

@Positivity2019 thanks, it's so nice to know there's someone going through the same thing! I had really bad cramps today for about 2 hours, then nothing! Hoping it was implantation cramps but considering I'm 14/15 dpo it's unlikely

Well keep up the positive vibes, that’s my main ethos although it is so hard some days. My AF arrived four days early on Monday and I was gutted, it really knocked me and I was pretty upset. But now it’s new cycle new chance and looking forward to my next fertile window.
