Inofolic and conception.

Hi,

I wondered if anyone had any experience with Inofolic?
We've been ttc for 2 and a half years and my consultant has reccomended Inofolic.
I do generally ovulate anyway and I did this mornth too. I'm now on day 38 of cycle (4 days late as I do have long cycles). I'm desperately trying not get my hopes up to soon and daren't take a test. I wondered if anyone had taken Inofolic and their period then been late? Any reviews I've read online have been the opposite and said it has regulated them.

Hopefully you can make sense of my ramblings.

Hi @AvaG23, I didn't actually take inofolic, but I took the same ingredients (myo inositol and folic acid) because I found it cheaper! I found when taking it the first cycle was still quite long - then within 3 months of taking it I conceived my DS. Now started taking it again in the hope to conceive again, had MC last month so fingers crossed for this month and we both get BFP soon! 🤞

I bit the bullet and did a test today. Approx 4 weeks pregant :-)

Did you continue both during your pregnancy?

Aww wow congratulations @AvaG23, I'm so happy for you that's so exciting! How long had you been taking the inofolic for? I would speak to your doctor, mine recommended to keep taking it for the first 12 weeks because it had the folic acid in it. Really pleased for you, how are you feeling? Must be over the moon especially if you've been trying for a while! X

Thank you! Yes, we're thrilled. If a little terrified!!
I'd actually only been taking the Inofolic foe about three weeks and ony started a few days before I oulated. But I think i was ovulating most months anyway. Maybe it just hadn't been the right time until now.

Ive been TTC for about 7 years now now result I’m so sure of taking test and seeing a negative 😢 it’s so depressing my daughter keep asking me for a sibling I don’t know how to explain it to her 🤷‍♀️. A doctor recommended inofolic to and I’ve been putting it off because I’m so tired 😑 of trying and failing (by the way I’ve be diagnosed with PCOS) I’m finally gonna take the plunge to see if it works. Is there any recent success story from anyone on inofolic? Will keep you’ll posted.

Hey @Drew89, I'm sorry it's been difficult for you to conceive again, that must be really hard 😰 I started taking myo inositol a few years ago, and conceived my DS. I started taking it again last autumn and this month I have just got pregnant again! I also have pcos and feel that the Myo inositol definitely helped me ovulate and regulate my cycles. Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Hey I’ve Been taking inofolic for 5-6 days now, I went to the toilet and after I wipe there was scatty blood on the tissue with some body tissue on it is this normal?
