Should I just go buy a test?

I’m being an idiot. I’m 14 days late. We decided to start trying to conceive in October this year, but have been having unprotected sex for a few months, but without my husband finishing off inside me (sorry not sure how to put that delicately). I’ve always been a bit irregular and had cramps last week which would usually signal the start of my period this week.

I’ve been trying to book my smear so have been trying to keep track of what is going on there, thought generally this isn’t something I track too closely.

I am really excited to start a family, my husband is more reluctant, and he set the October time frame. I’m not sure if this is just wishful thinking!

He is on a work call and there is a co op 5 minutes walk away...should I just go get a test...or see what tomorrow brings?

Not sure why I’m posting, just for some company maybe.

Thanks

@Legomanships might as well!? random question but curious as to why you have been doing the "withdrawal method" if you're ttc?

Legomanships · 27/08/2019 21:22

We’ve been withdrawing really just because of the “timescale” plan - Which is more his plan than mine, because I’m sort of ready whenever

Yes get a test! You may as well find out so you know either way, then take it from there.

Gellert · 27/08/2019 21:24

Buy the test...good luck!

Ilovefriday · 27/08/2019 21:25

Definitely get the test. Hope you get the result you are hoping for.

December2019 · 27/08/2019 21:28

Yeah I'd test just to ease your mind 😊 good luck

Legomanships · 27/08/2019 21:35

Shortest, least dramatic thread ever...negative test - just some wishful thinking on my end
