I think it's a BFN

Tested using the other FRER this morning and it came up negative. Done another internet cheapie and it's come up with another very faint line but no stronger than it was a couple of days ago so looks like it's a BFN for me for now Sad It's really awkward though as I have no idea where to date myself from as I haven't had any bleed since stopping the pill yet so guess I'll just have to bulk up on cheap tests and keep testing every couple of days until AF does (or hopefully doesn't 🤞) come

If there's a second line it's positive? X

Crazymummyto3 · 26/08/2019 17:22

@Herat1986 There isn't a second line on the FRER, on the cheapies I can see a very faint second line but it looks to be getting fainter

A line on any test is a line though. It shows pregnancy hormones. Are you concerned it won't be a viable pregnancy because the line is fainter? Perhaps do a clear blue digital tomorrow for a clear yes or no x

A clear blue digital will be negative even if pregnant at this stage, the level of hormones needed to get a positive is higher than an FRER and most internet cheapies. If there is any colour in the line it's (probably) a positive, if it's grey or colourless it could be evap/indent. Id suggest leaving it a few days and testing again.

It can take a while for your cycle to normalise after being on the pill, have you used OPKs to confirm ovulation?

Crazymummyto3 · 26/08/2019 19:29

@Herat1986 Yes, it's the fact that's it's getting fainter that's making me think it's not viable even if it was a positive. Will just have to wait and see.

@codenameduchess I haven't use and opk yet, was planning on waiting for my first AF then trying to track it more from there. For our previous pregnancies we didn't do any tracking so am hoping to do the same this time, although i am aware that I'm not as young now.
