Ovulation reading high?

Hey my ovulation tests have been reading high for six days now waiting on it peaking but I've just taken my period today?

Is this even normal? So annoying 😢😢😢

Your LH can rise before your period. Some people get a surge. What CD are you?

Are you using the clearblue digital tests? The high reading comes from a rise in estrogen which happens twice per month, once just before you ovulate and then again just before your period. You get a peak reading when it also detects a rise in LH which happens just before you ovulate.

So it sounds like you've started testing after you ovulated this month - I had the same the first month I used the tests too. I'd just come off the pill so wasn't actually sure where I was in my cycle.

CD is cycle day, day 1 is the first day of your LMP (last period). I started testing on CD8

Sorry I got my implant out 1st August and got a period on 14tg August but only lasted three days so I started using clear blue ovulation tests on 19th and it has been negative until 21st and then been high since, I'm just so confused?!
