Anyone had a false positive on clearblue?

Had this test at 10dpo.. did a FRER an hour before which was negative. I’ve read about this test (CB early detection) quite commonly giving false positives but I had already bought it before I read the reviews. Really hoping I’m pregnant but feeling like AF is coming, due tomorrow. On another note has no one ever complained to clearblue for these tests giving false hope? The reviews date back a few years to present so I would have thought they would sort the issue by now. Does anyone think these could actually be real positives?

Hi, yes I unfortunately did this month..... got all excited coz I was 10 days late, further tests were negative and AF rocked up yesterday.

yeah, they're shit. Doesn't mean you aren't pregnant though. I just wouldn't trust it.

Get yourself an early detection digital one. Mine was bang on but only the day before my period was due. 2 days before it was negative. I've just put the resulting DD down for a nap.

Were you pregnant or was it a false?
