Help - positive or not?

Hi Everyone,

I did a FRER test yesterday and this morning and got faint lines both times. I've just done a Clear Blue to determine weeks and it says not pregnant....

I had the coil removed on the 18th July and had a horrible bleed from the 20th for 10 days.

I think I ovulated on the 2nd/3rd..... so my period (28 day cycle) is late. Of and I have many symptoms! This is baby #4 so I'm fairly certain I am 😬

Advice/experience appreciated!

Help - positive or not?

I see a line on both tests!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 23/08/2019 20:09

So I'm not going mad am I?
Have you had experience of either test?

Clearblue is no where near as sensitive as frer. Expect you are super early on and clearblue not detecting yet.

Hardheadedwoman39 · 23/08/2019 20:44

Thank @Lozboz22 that's good to know, I think I'm probably only just 4 weeks of that...

@Hardheadedwoman39 yes when I was very early with my ds i had similar results. I knew anyway but after a day or two I got clearer lines. Congratulations!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 23/08/2019 21:10

Thank you @willieversleep this is reassuring... it's all a bit of a shock tbh so the last thing I need is to get used to the idea and then realise I'm not!

It was very unplanned!

Top 2 will be +before af.
CB never showed +til I was well late!

Crazymummyto3 · 23/08/2019 21:15

Clear Blue showed up later for me too. With my previous pregnancies I had lines like yours on my internet cheapie tests before the Clear Blue registered. Looks like congratulations are in order!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 23/08/2019 21:20

Thank you @Windydaysuponus and @Crazymummyto3
It's reassuring to know this happens a lot. How many children do you have?

Really?!

OP posts:
Windydaysuponus · 23/08/2019 21:31

Yep. Sometimes wonder how much I spent on hpt's!!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 23/08/2019 21:47

That's incredible, I'm terrified at the thought of 4!
Did you have them quite close together?

OP posts:
Windydaysuponus · 23/08/2019 21:55

Oldest had 3 sibling by 7yo. Later on had 3 under 3!!
Been an amazing journey so far!!

Tiredmum100 · 23/08/2019 22:10

I used the same tests as your first photos. Never used a clear blue, had similar lines, dc are 5 and 7 now so I'd say they are positive. Congratulations!

@Hardheadedwoman39 , we have three children and I 'think' I've got a very, very faint positive on an Internet cheapie today 🤞

Hardheadedwoman39 · 24/08/2019 06:32

@Crazymummyto3 we're in the same boat! Are you pleased?

@Hardheadedwoman39 I would be shocked that it's happened so quickly again, but over the moon! I would have no idea how to date it, I took my last pill on 5th August and haven't even had a withdrawal bleed so if it is it's happened pretty much as soon as I've stopped my pill. I've done another cheap test this morning 🙈 and the kind is stronger than yesterday so fingers crossed!! I can't get out today to buy a test as hubby is at work and our daughter is having a sleepover birthday party (not sure how I got talked into that!) but I've ordered a FRER to come tomorrow. I haven't told hubby yet as I don't want to get his hopes up if it's not, but it's our 10th wedding anniversary tomorrow so it would be great if the FRER comes up positive to I could give it to him tomorrow!

Hardheadedwoman39 · 24/08/2019 08:40

That's so exciting! What amazing circumstances 😊😊😊
I'll keep everything crossed for a very happy anniversary...... good luck with the sleepover, they always seem like a good idea until your shushing them at midnight for the 900th time 🙄 x

@Hardheadedwoman39 Ha ha, thanks. It's the first one she's had so not sure what to expect. I probably should have started off with one friend, not 5 😂 How old are your children? Ours are 9,7 and 21 months

Hardheadedwoman39 · 24/08/2019 10:07

@Crazymummyto3
5! Lots of luck and I would say wine but not if you're pregnant 😞
Mine our 14, 12 and 11 months......so weirdly the age gap will be the same between the oldest and the youngest 🙄

Not sure if anyone is watching this thread still 😂 but thought I would update. It turned out to be a chemical pregnancy, after four days of positive tests I had a negative result and started bleeding later that day (yesterday).
I've never had anything like this so am a bit all over the place....
