Hi ladies!

I seem to have a positive opk, correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to have 2 rather dark lines. I am 4 days away from AF And picked up my ovulation a couple of weeks back, I knew because of temp and ewcm.

Could this be picking up a very early pregnancy?

Let me know what you all think? 😘

@Emmaaa1990 oh no!!! Looks like the dreaded sickness has hit then! What do you do? Is work quite flexible? I think I'll be able to manage to hide it as I can work from home when I want really. I usually go in 2 days a week and then 2 days at home( I work long days and have a Friday off) only issue I'll have is if I have any travel booked as I do travel 2-3 times a month. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it though!!

Apparently ginger is good for the sickness( just reading one of my leaflets 😂😂😂) xxx

Emmaaa1990 · 11/09/2019 16:25

@May2311 yeah I feel rough sat on the bathroom floor for a while then got some fresh air! I'm an operations co-ordinator for a water company so I'm office based but it's not flexible at all really 🙈 I have a demon boss 😂🙈

Oh wow that's cool that you get to travel! What do you do? Yeah hopefully it doesn't happen too bad for you.

Haha yes I've heard about ginger and someone else said fizzy drinks are good might have to stock up! Xx

@Emmaaa1990 urgh nothing worse than a bad boss when you feeling so rubbish!! I work with schools that are needing to improve. I moan about it but lucky really that it is so flexible. Xx

Emmaaa1990 · 19/09/2019 09:46

@May2311 hey yeah I'm doing well thanks quite abit of sickness last few days but don't feel too bad today! How are you doing?

Yes it's scan day I'm so nervous, I keep thinking what if they say I'm not even pregnant! Just so worried probably over nothing I'm just hoping all is okay! It's at 12.30 so will let you know what happens after 😘 xx

@Emmaaa1990 you will be fine. They aren't going to say that but totally understand your nerves as I keep thinking what if that happens!!

Nausea is bad- mainly in the middle of the night which is annoying. At least if it was during the day I would have an excuse not to work😂 instead I have to work and be grumpy as I'm so tried!

Best of luck! Let me know when your out. Xx

Emmaaa1990 · 19/09/2019 13:08

@May2311 I'm back! It was so amazing baby is measuring perfectly and strong heartbeat seen and heard! I'm 7 weeks exactly!

Little blob! 🥰 well worth doing if you are thinking about it! Xx

@Emmaaa1990 awwwwwww how lovely!! I am so pleased 🤗🤗 I have my midwife appt next Thursday and then I'm going to book a private scan if it's going to be a few more weeks before my 12week scan. Have you told anyone yet?

Emmaaa1990 · 19/09/2019 15:22

@May2311 ahh Thankyou! Yeah see how far away your 12 week one is! I've got that appointment already they've been so quick for 28th October but I will be 12 weeks 4 days by then.

My parents know and sister and partners sister knows and 1 of my best mates but no one else does. Still trying to keep it on the down low especially with work. Have you told many people? Xx

@Emmaaa1990 There is only hubby, me, my boss and hubbys boss that knows. Hubbys boss because I was supposed to be going on a residential trip as an extra adult and obviously can't now for H&S ( it's active) and my boss because having to cancel work travel due to the sickness and nausea.

We want a scan pic to tell everyone and to prove its real first😂 I'm actually surprised at how much I'm not dying to tell my mum and sister as I'm so close to them but enjoying it just being hubby and me that know at the moment.

Emmaaa1990 · 20/09/2019 11:11

@May2311 aww that's so lovely!! Yeah definitely gotta tell them if it's active don't wanna risk anything do you!

I'm worried my colleagues are gonna guess soon as I've already thrown up twice this morning, morning sickness has definitely amped up a gear 🙈 the cramping isn't as bad tho! How are your symptoms?
