Hi ladies!

I seem to have a positive opk, correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to have 2 rather dark lines. I am 4 days away from AF And picked up my ovulation a couple of weeks back, I knew because of temp and ewcm.

Could this be picking up a very early pregnancy?

Let me know what you all think? 😘

@GoldLeafTree ahh Thankyou!!! I hope this is your month! How long have you been TTC?

That sounds exciting, keep us posted when you test!

@May2311 haha bless her! Yeah the personalities would be the best way I guess!

Yeah I will do 2 weeks exactly today as I'm now 5 weeks according to my LMP, I'm just hoping everything is okay. X

@Emmaaa1990 will they be able to hear a heartbeat at 7 weeks usually? Do you know what I can't stop stressing over the midwife saying I'm 5weeks + 5 today 😂 i know I'm not as I would have got a positive test earlier! So I'm worrying that I'll go for my first scan and then they will think something is wrong because baby isn't as big as it should be! 🙈 I know I'm being daft because she has explained that they have to go back last period.

@GoldLeafTree how are you feeling today? When is AF due? Xxx

GoldLeafTree · 05/09/2019 17:19

This is my very first month TTC. AF due next week around the 13th according to Flo.

I've got lots of cramps and aches this afternoon and a pulling feeling too.

Last night I had a stitch in my left side that was incredibly painful too, it woke me up! However it's only my first month so I'm not overly hopeful

Emmaaa1990 · 05/09/2019 17:25

@May2311 yeah apparently! My friend had her scan at 7 weeks I believe the heartbeat forms around 6 so they say after that's a good time! I'm hoping they see one anyway! Otherwise maybe my dates are wrong! I don't think they are tho my last period was 1st August!

It's scary isn't it 🙈

@GoldLeafTree that would be amazing if you did conceive this month! Definitely update us with what happens 😊 x

Emmaaa1990 · 05/09/2019 18:32

@BeautyAndTheBump1 ahh Thankyou! How are you? Xx

@BeautyAndTheBump1 thanks😊 your positive OPK is that just before AF is due?

MajorFaffington · 05/09/2019 19:20

What a lovely thread! I was rooting for you both! Congratulations:

@May2311 Don’t worry about your dates being wrong- the midwife can only go by your last period date as a guide to begin with. When you go for your 12 week dating scan they will work out your gestation and due date by measuring the baby. In my current pregnancy I was due 19th October by period date but this was put back to 28th October due to measurements on scan (I knew this would be the case because I knew I had ovulated really late).

FearnRJ · 05/09/2019 19:32

What a lovely thread this is I'm so glad you both got your BFP's ❤️

I got my BFP a few weeks ago currently due 29th of April I was 6 weeks yesterday x

Emmaaa1990 · 05/09/2019 20:02

@MajorFaffington ah Thankyou 😊

@FearnRJ Thankyou! 😊 congratulations to you, are you having many symptoms? X

OP posts:
FearnRJ · 05/09/2019 20:07

@Emmaaa1990 extremely sore boobs, tiredness, so bloated and nausea on and off but this only started on Monday.

Have you had many symptoms? I know some people that have hardly any, a girl I work with had nothing at all and sailed through her pregnancy she didn't even experience any pain in labour either. I'll probably be the total opposite 🤣 x

May2311 · 05/09/2019 21:22

@MajorFaffington Thanks! That's made me feel better knowing it happened to you😊

@FearnRJ thank you! Congratulations to you too!

I have one boob on fire tonight! 😂😂

Emmaaa1990 · 05/09/2019 21:30

@FearnRJ I'm with you on the sore boobs! Mine are so sore they kept waking me up because I couldn't get comfortable last night! I'm weeing more, hungry and abit of sickness.

Oh wow that's insane! I'd love to feel no pain in labour, worried about that already and I've got months to go yet! 🙈 x

OP posts:
FearnRJ · 05/09/2019 21:33

@Emmaaa1990 yes the boobs are the biggest one for me at the minute. I've found wearing a sports type bra/vest for bed has really helped I've been wearing one for the past week. They were waking me up when I turned over cause the ache so much but that holds them in. They have them in primark about £5.

Yes labour scares me too 🤣 x

Emmaaa1990 · 05/09/2019 21:58

@FearnRJ oh I definitely need to invest! I brought a sports bra earlier at lunch but rushed and didn't try it and it's too tight 🙈 I'm resorted to a gym too thing tonight but they are already agony 🙄🙈 will have to venture into primark I think!

Luckily we got a while yet 🙈 I think I'd like a water birth!

@May2311 boob on fire made me crack up 😂the joys! X

@Emmaaa1990 I'm okay, I get married in 2 weeks so this TWW should be easy 😂 how are you feeling?!

@May2311 no I'm currently CD23, my cycles are 38! 😫 how are you feeling? 🙊

May2311 · 06/09/2019 09:26

@BeautyAndTheBump1 aww how lovely! Congratulations in advance! Feeling ok just a little rough this morning( sort of hungover feeling!) - just been doing my shopping list with all the healthy pregnancy food google recommends😂🙄 I wonder how long I stick to it!

@Emmaaa1990 do you still have the urge to pee on a stick? Just to check it's still real? 🙈 I'm trying to avoid doing it as don't want to be doing that for 9 months!!

Emmaaa1990 · 06/09/2019 10:07

@BeautyAndTheBump1 aww congratulations! Have a lovely day!

@May2311 omg yes! I've done 6 but did my last one last Sunday! I'm 2 first responses, 2 normal clearblue and 2 digital ones 😂😂😂 I've stopped since then but I totally have thought about it! What is wrong with us?! Think I just got used to peeing on things 😂🙈 xx

Emmaaa1990 · 11/09/2019 08:52

@May2311 hey how are you doing? It's your first midwife appointment today isn't it? Xx

OP posts:
May2311 · 11/09/2019 09:20

@Emmaaa1990 morning 😊 yes this afternoon! I'm not sure what to expect as it is a "group session" first and then I meet the midwife separately.

How have you been feeling? I'm so so tired I can't believe it's hit me like this. The last couple of days I've struggled with dizziness as well which I'm a bit worried about but will mention it today.

Have you got your 1st midwife appointment booked yet? Xxxx

Emmaaa1990 · 11/09/2019 09:25

@May2311 ah how exciting!!! Let me know how it goes!

I've been feeling very sick and so crampy, my hot water bottle has been a saviour I know it's everything moving around but it's scary I keep thinking I'm going to have my period! Think I'm still in disbelief it's happening! Aww tiredness sucks! Especially when you have to go about your normal day and no one knows yet 🙈 it's hard.

Yess so I've booked a private early scan next Thursday to check for heartbeat and just for peace of mind & the my first midwife is booked for 9th October 😊 xxx

OP posts:
May2311 · 11/09/2019 09:46

@Emmaaa1990 totally get the worry about cramps! I've been the same but keep reminding myself that it's normal. It's the dizziness that I don't think is!

Will let you know how I get on! Oooo it will be so nice hearing the heartbeat 💗 I am still undecided whether to have an early scan. I might wait till you have yours and then you can tell me what it was like! Xx

Emmaaa1990 · 11/09/2019 10:26

@May2311 I wouldn't worry too much about dizziness I have it sometimes too think it's all the hormones and how much harder our bodies are working 😊

Yes definitely & yeah I will definitely report back to you once I've had the scan fingers crossed baby is all good xx

OP posts:
May2311 · 11/09/2019 15:44

@Emmaaa1990 I'm back! The group session was really good actually - loads of leaflets to read through so just having a decaf and salt & vinegar squares whilst looking over them all😂

Midwife bit was only 10 min just basic checks ( blood pressure, weight height etc). Official booking appointment is 26 September but she reassured me that dizziness is quite common it is just my body getting used to everything. There was a couple of midwifes and all seem nice and friendly so I felt as ease! Xx

Emmaaa1990 · 11/09/2019 16:01

@May2311 ahh that's good! I've never heard of a group thing til you mentioned it! It's nice meeting/talking to people in the same situation isn't it!

Yeah so much going on inside isn't there that we can't see! Oooh not long then 😊 that's good Cos you do hear some stories of midwives being abit nasty.

I've had a terrible day at work I've been physically sick today, stomachs cramping, and I feel like I need to vom again. If this gets worse not sure how I can hide it 🙈 xx
