I need urgent advice from anyone who might know or had similar
i've started my ivf cycle and on buserlin 20 . had 2 scans this week. yesterday they saw 2 good follicle and one smaller that they wanted to check again today as might still grow. planned collection was sunday.
just went for the scan - planned egg collection was sunday! however they said one of the follicles disappeared and they wondered if i already ovulated despite suppression medication.
had a blood test to check the hormone level as now they say it might be EC tomorrow! has anyone had anything similar ? can they collect eggs tomorrow without 36-48 hours trigger injection?!
now it's only 2 good size follicles on scan and i know i'm usually a poor responder ( had 4 previous cycles) one successful after a single embryo transfer ( healthy daughter).
i remember having been asked previously when only had 1 follicle if i still wanted to go for egg collection or cancel the cycle to try again later. but i went for EC anyway they got 3 eggs one fertilised
i'm so confused and unsure were to go from here ! they will call at 4pm with blood result and decision on next step
