When do you stop bleeding after miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage at just over 5 weeks pregnant and just wondering when I will stop bleeding?

I started to spot Monday evening and still spotting Tuesday but Wednesday was full on and it’s been that way ever since. Today is really painful and have lots of clots. We go on holiday on Sunday and just hoping it’s eased up by then!

Not coping very well mentally and this is too starting to take it out of me.

I stopped bleeding after about 5 weeks. Don't call 111 cos they'll send an ambulance but could you maybe get an urgent gp appointment just to talk about it? I don't think I was still passing big clots or bleeding particularly heavy after 3 weeks?
Im so sorry for your loss and hopefully this holiday will help you feel a bit better x

I am so sorry op, not the nicest situation for you at all, I hope you've got the support you need? I bled for about 10 days after I had mine last year. I hope the holiday helps too.

Thanks guys.

So I’ve got a long way to go before it eases up then?! Was hoping to go swimming but can’t go like this.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Life can be cruel.
I had one at 11 weeks last year and I bled red blood for about 2 weeks and then brownish for about 2 weeks afterwards. It was incredibly painful especially at the stage you are now. Just take it easy, your body is going through a lot, mentally and physically. It might be worth ringing your EPAS unit to see if they’ll scan you to make sure you have passed everything.
Just be kind to yourself, it’s such a rollercoaster. Sounds like a holiday will do the world of good xx

Sorry to hear about your loss. When I MC at 5 / 6 weeks I bled for about a good week after so I think everyone is different

Hi I'm so sorry you're in this situation, its so hard. I had a mc around 6/7 weeks and bled for 5 days then had brown spotting for a further 4. I think everyone is different though. Dont worry, just try to relax and look after yourself. Enjoy your holiday xx
