Long time lurker - first time poster!

We're not actively trying to conceive (yet) We married earlier this year and have spoken about trying towards the end of the year but have definitely not been as careful as we used to. Haven't been on the pill for almost 4 years (issues with hormones affecting my body)

Anyway,i keep track of ovulation and know when to avoid but a couple of weeks ago (pretty much bang on ovulation) we had had a few drinks and ended up not using protection which wasn't too much of an issue because my husband didn't get there as he was a bit drunk 🙈 I hadn't really thought much of it since until today when I started getting a sharp/stabbing pain in the middle of lower abdomen, not like cramps. Period isn't due until Sunday so think it would be too early to test but just wondered if anyone has had this as a symptom of early pregnancy? There is also the possibly I ovulated early/late as I haven't been tracking as we weren't trying. We would be delighted even though it's a few months earlier than planned but don't want to get ahead of myself so haven't mentioned to husband yet.

Sorry for the long post! Hope someone can give some words of advice 😊

Hello!
I've not got too much help but I also have had a full achey/stabbing pain in my lower abdomen today and am also due on sunday. I have also had really sore nipple ends 😂. Fingers crossed you get the answer you want :)

Thanks for replying! I'm quite used to my body with not being on the pill for so long but never felt like this before 🤷🏼‍♀️ Thank you,I would be holy with a positive but equally will be okay to wait another few months. It's just the not knowing and wonder of wether to both taking a test or just wait til Sunday. Have you been TTC?

I know what you mean, the wait is awful isn't it! We're not necessarily trying but not really preventing either - similar to you I track my fertility as I don't like the hormonal pill! We're hoping to get our first house in the next few months so we'd be happy either way!

Norkey · 22/08/2019 19:19

Good luck with the house! It's so exciting moving into you're first home! Hope you get the result you want this weekend 😊 Keep me posted on what happens!

Norkey · 26/08/2019 14:30

Yeah doing good thank you! How are you? Pain in lower belly has gone but period was due yesterday and it's still not here 🤷🏼‍♀️ Husband is picking up a test on his way home from work today so will keep you updated. What about you? Any news with you?

I'm good too Thankyou! I have had on/off cramps for a couple of days but same here no AF! I did a cheapie test this morning and there was what seemed to be a mega faint line there but it's possible it's just an indent so I'm not going to dwell on it! It af doesn't show by tomorrow I'll do a better one! Good luck let me know how you get on!

Norkey · 26/08/2019 15:38

That sounds promising though 🤞🏻 I think I'm going to wait til the morning too,let me know how you get on!
