TTC #1 after pill. Buddies?

Hi! TTC first baby with husband, I'm 25. Came off mini pill on 9th May, had first bleed on 10th June for 5 days. Had a really long wait and just started period again yesterday. I had been on pill for 6 years, implant for 3 and then on mini most recently.

I have been taking the pregnacare vitamins and i also recently took agnus castus to try and hurry period along so don't know if it was coincidence or not that it helped but a 72 day cycle was not fun!

Anyone else in a similar position? :)

I came off the pill in March, but didn't start TTC until April due to having been to a potential Zika area earlier in the year. I've been on the pill for far too many years, but my cycles seem pretty regular since coming off it, so fingers crossed.

Hi @kmdx00, I came off the pill at the end of May and am currently in cycle 2 it ttc #1. Im older than you though (34), so hoping that won't be too much of a problem!

Came off the pill 2 weeks ago (mid cycle), after being on it for 4 years (this time round), cycles have always been very regular even on the pill.
Am 40, partner 39 and this is our first.

Its nice to hear that you all seem to have went back to regular cycles! Just finished my period yesterday so really hoping that's me back to normal and cycles will be a bit shorter and back to normal. Good luck to everyone - be nice to keep in touch. I'm going to try the clearblue advanced opk again this month, I used it last month and I did get a peak but I must not have ovulated when it said and ended up ovulating later as it was such a long cycle. Fingers crossed for us all! x

I came off the pill in May 2019 after being on numerous contraceptions since the age of 15 (now 26).
My cycle returned to "normal" quicker than I thought, and we have been TTC since, but no luck as of yet!
My partner will be turning 32 next weekend, and we are hoping that September is our month 🤞🏼..

I just came off the pill yesterday after almost 8 years to TTC #2. First was a surprise. Also have PCOS so wondering how things will go with periods.

Hi! I’m 27 came off the pill early June... I’ve not had a period, been doing OPK tests and peaked on CD77. Got down to business and now waiting the 2 weeks before testing. 13 days to go!

I came off the pill 25th May and got withdrawal bleed 3th May to 3rd June and I only got my first AF yesterday after 103 days!

I hope to go the next cycle isn't as long, I don't think I can cope!

30th May sorry not 3rd!

@Mrsccc aw the waiting is awful! I was tearing my hair out and that was 72 so will have been worse for you! I'm hoping that's my cycle back to normal now. Wish I knew would take this long for my body to go back to normal, would have came off the pill a lot sooner!! X
