Testing early Sep (seeking TWW pals)

Is anyone going to be testing at the start of September?

I'm 1DPO today and seeking buddies to wait/symptom spot with.

I'm on cycle 3 of TTC first child.

@MrsMeow2019 I would recommend it yes. It’s so easy to use and tracks so many things for you. I am going to use an OPK next cycle but that’s for my own curiosity to see how accurate the ovulation date that Ava is giving me is. Mine was actually a gift so I’m not sure what he postal delivery time was so sorry I can’t help there.

@Bezalelle google is absolutely our friend and enemy at the moment eh. I’m the same, never thought I’d be sharing so much info with people I don’t know but it’s such a help to clear the head and get some perspective and calm.

Woke up with cramps today so think my period is on the way sadly. Boobs arent sore anymore either

@itssquidstella Sounds like your cycle os quite similar to mine! My AF is due around the same time and ovulation was yesterday, today or tomorrow - depending on which app I look at 😃 Don't count yourself out, 2 sessions during the fertile window aren't bad I think!

@Raizelrea fingers crossed! Are you going to test early or just wait to see if AF arrives?

Hi ladies, happy bank holiday weekend! Os anyone on their TWW already or is it still all go time? 😃 I think I have ovulated but will definitely be DTD some more as I have no idea! May try OPKs next cycle to save me all the extra speculation!

Hi ladies, AF due for me around 31st/1st, think I’m about 5-6DPO and symptom spotting like a crazy person knowing there is nothing to spot at this early stage 🙈! I’ve had sharp pains in both ovaries, a tugging feeling across the uterus, gagged when I ate some flavoured nuts I usually like ... but it is likely all in my head! I am not good at this TWW thing!

I am in the exact same boat as you sunshine, due on 31st and with similar symptoms and and trying to spot them like an absolute loon (which is not new) only difference this month is I am quite dizzy and having headaches! Is this your first bub?

@nuttypea yes it is - ttc baby no 1! But struggling with long cycles (45 days) so I’m CD37 currently and only 5-6DPO, it’s so horrible. I have to wait sooo long for anything to happen and then wait some more during the TWW 😭 I’m really struggling with it tbh.

It's horrible how shitty it makes you feel isn't it. Sorry tmi but are you dtd regularly or just charting and fertile window? I know it doesn't make it easier hearing it, but plenty of people conceive with long cycles! It's my 4th cycle actively trying and it's just so disheartening. On my mind 24/7 I know it's not long in reality but I am already convinced we will struggle. I am worried I have lost the plot, I look at baby items online most days and sometimes even put them in a basket as if I'm ready to buy them 🙈 not normal behaviour I'm sure. But have never wanted anything so much. Fingers crossed for everyone that their bfp is soon. Xx

@nuttypea no I’ve not been tracking which is making it worse so i plan to start doing both bbt and OPK sticks next cycle... I completely get it, I’m always on the forums and googling ttc related things. It is taking over my life. I’ve only been trying since June so I dread to think what I’ll be like if it doesn’t happen quickly 😬

@Sunshine8888 @Nuttypea Hopefully with the bank holiday the next few days will fly by, once the weekend's over you'll be 10 DPO so almost done with the TWW! Stay busy 😊

@Raizelrea I think I'm just going to hold off and see if AF shows up - I'm not feeling particularly optimistic and a bfn would be more disappointing than my period arriving. Will be trying hard not to symptom spot in the next two weeks!

That said, I've got a wedding on the 7th so if no AF by then I'll have to test as I want to be able to drink if I'm not pregnant!

Question ladies since I'm just learning about TTC (the shame considering I am a nurse 🤭😂)

The FLO app said my most fertile day was the 18th and im guessing the 16th 17th 18th 19th and 20th was my fertile window??

Also where do I start counting my days past ovulation is at on the 20th or at the start of the fertile window??

@itssquidstella All these weddings are making TTC discreetly very difficult! 😁 Thankfully the wedding season is almost over (I'm not really complaining, I do love going to them, and one of them was my own haha)

@firsttimemum1993 Your fertile window is generally the 4-5 days before ovulation (as sperm can live up to 5 days), the day of ovulation and maybe the one after if you're lucky. You count your DPO from the day of ovulation, so if you think your ovulation was the 18th that would make you 5 DPO today. But obviously these are just estimates as you may not have ovulated on the day Flo says, so unless you had any ovulation symptoms to say it was the 18th with confidence, I wouldn't worry about trying to estimate DPO and go by when your AF is due instead for testing. Hope that helps!

@Raizelrea congratulations! I got married this summer too, and I do love a wedding! Will be hard not to drink when I do get pregnant - we've got at least four more in the next nine months!

So My sex drive was through the roof 🤭 and my CM was how it is described it should be on google.. it has not went a bit creamy is that normal ? 💁🏽‍♀️ never though I'd be discussing my CM online haha 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 xx
