When will I ovulate after a miscarriage?

I did google Grin which says two weeks after a miscarriage...

Does that take into account when you stop bleeding?

I had a miscarriage on the 14th August at 9 weeks. I have stopped bleeding already. I am going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow but I really want to start again.

When can I start TTC again?

I'm sorry for your loss @Painteditreddddd. I was advised we could ttc straight away, as soon as the bleeding stopped. I wasn't tracking but noticed ewcm and then my period arrived around 2-3 days later than normal, so my first cycle was 27 days from my bleed and when I think I passed everything (cycles are between 23-25 days normally). I was still getting faint positives on hpt.

It's taken 3 cycles (took one month off) and I'm now 6+1, due to have an early scan on Thursday at the epu.

As soon as you feel ready, you can try again. Physically I was fine but it's taken a while for me to feel better emotionally, but that didn't stop us ttc. Good luck xx

I generally ovulate around 14-18 days after passing the gestational sac

If you've had a D&C it can take a bit longer.

You should try to conceive with this ovulation through as lining won't have had time to recover and could result in another miscarriage

I ovulated 16-17 days after I passed everything. I was 8 wks. 10th June my miscarriage was complete, stopped bleeding four days later. Had a negative pregnancy test on 24th June. Positive OPK 25th and 26th June and got pregnant from having intercourse on the 25th June. Currently 10 wks. If your feeling ready emotionally I’d say start tracking as it can happen anytime. I will say I got a surge about 9 days after my miscarriage but didn’t get my real surge until almost a wk later had loads of EWCM so knew it was true ovulation. So don’t stop testing until your sure you’ve caught your ovulation and I’m wishing you all the luck in the world x

I decided to wait until my first period before i started TTC again after my miscarriage in July. I'm on day 8 of my new cycle and my OPK says high so i'm hoping this means i'll be ovulating around day 14 if it follows the normal pattern (which is early for me). I'll post again when i know if that helps but in terms of when to try again - i agree with @VenusStarr - you'll know when you feel ready. In the first two weeks immediately afterwards I thought i'd never be able to go through it again but here I am now, feeling more positive and actually looking forward to trying again.
Reading VenusStarr and @Ginmonkey84's messages and seeing that you're both pregnant again gives me so much hope too (and has me crying - happy - tears for you both....maybe i'm more emotional than i thought) - congratulations! Wishing you lots of luck @Painteditreddddd x
