TTC Baby number 1 - Looking for buddies

Hi Ladies 🙋,

I'm new to the forum so thought I'd look for some TTC buddies.
I'm 30 and TTC baby number 1, I came off the pill beginning of May and had a withdrawal bleed a few days later then got my first AF 4 weeks after that. Last month I sadly had a chemical it was gutting seeing the faint line go but I guess it wasn't my time!
AF arrived on time Sunday so looks like my cycle ranges from 34-35 days.
I'm currently taking pregnacare and using the Ovia app for ovulation, I'm thinking if I don't concieve by month 6 I'll try ovulation sticks. Onward to month 4 I go 🤣

@Makeafamily19 I've had a line that's certainly not as dark as control line but not really faint, so it's still negative for me too. This cycle I have some new ovulation tests I'm using, slightly different to the ones I've used before, so still getting to grips with them. Last month I ovulated cd12 too, but with having a chemical I'm not sure if I'll ovulate earlier or later this month. x

@Nicecupofcoco yeah I'm not sure about this month either. I took norethisterone to delay my period on honeymoon last month and I'm not sure what that does to ovulation. I POAS a few days before just in case and thought I got a faint line but it had disappeared a few hours later. I then tested again the day AF was due and BFN so I'm not sure if I was just going mad or if it was a CP
Will be annoyed if I don't ovulate this month though. I have the cheap amazon OPKs and I just bought some CB fertile days ones to use once I get a stronger line on the cheapies.

@Makeafamily19 yeah just keep testing and hopefully will be your fw very soon.
I did another opk this morning and confused by it. The second line looks darker but not as thick as the control line, I'm not sure if that matters. I don't feel like I'm going to ovulate soon as I've had no ewcm yet! Will test again this afternoon. Just using the internet cheapies.

Opk from this morning ladies, it's still not as thick but almost as dark,would you class this as negative still? It's certainly darker than yesterday's so maybe means I'm approaching fw. Fingers crossed that in the next few days i will get a positive. Hope everybody else is doing OK. X

@nicecupofcoco It looks pretty dark to me! So you input it on a app to tell you the LH level or ratio? I don't think it needs to be as thick it's more so the colour xx

New to the forum

I'm 25 and TTC baby number 1. We got married earlier this month! I ovulated 21st August and we DTD three times over the 6 day ovulation period. 4 days before period due and I had implantation bleed and feeling extremely tired. Also having mild cramping at times. Did a test today but negative as still 4 days before AF due. Whats the chances of pregnancy? Is there a chance here .. thank you. I am extremely tired and have no energy to do anything!

Hi @Hewie30 thank you, no I haven't been using an app just the opk, but think my cm is changing alittle now, so could be fw. Dh and I have date night tonight, I'll be rushing back afterwards to dtd! hope your doing OK @Hewie30 is it your tww now?
@Amik2019 I'd say chances are high! Will keep fingers crossed! Test again in a couple of days!

I'm hoping so will let you know the outcome but its my first so not too sure!

@AmiK2019 I'd say if you had implantation bleeding your chances are very high! When was that? I read that even sensitive tests take 2-3 days from implantation to pick up on any results.

@amik2019 Welcome hun! I agree I'd say that the fact you got implantation bleeding is a positive thing, it can take at least 3-5 days from implantation to get a positive test so I wouldn't worry, give it a few more days or try leave it as close to AF as you can 🤞☺️ xx

@nicecupofcoco The apps are quite good cos it gives you numbers but definitely worth looking yourself too as I'm finding their dark but their not giving me high numbers. I'm doing good, I'm cd 12 at the moment so waiting for ovulation 🤞🙂. Hopefully it'll come soon! Xx

@Nicecupofcoco I don't think that's positive just yet but definitely getting there, give it a day or so. I find the apps depend on the quality of the photo so if it's not saying it's as dark as you think retake it. Also if it's dark and then very faint the next day you know it was a surge, I think how dark it gets depends on the person.

OPK this evening is still very faint so I'm not there just yet but DTD last night following SMEP just in case (couldn't do it tonight as DH is out).

@makeafamily19 I'm so glad you said that. I've been thinking that myself, my opks have been fairly dark and it said 46 which is great but then today it was dark again but it said 28. It's really hard to get a good photo so I use my common sense too with it xx

My OPKs yesterday were getting there but not that strong and now this morning I have very clear positives and a static smiley. Really pleased as was worried I may not ovulate this month (though I know this isn't foolproof).

We DTD Thursday night and last night and just told DH we need to go again now for next 3 nights 😂 think I've scared him a bit.

How is everyone else getting on?

I got my positive yesterday morning then even dark positive early afternoon test, so we dtd Friday night, Saturday night and hopefully again tonight! I'm not sure if I left it alittle late to start dtd this month but fingers crossed! 🤞 Hope everyone's doing OK!

Thank you all. I did take a test today morning but it’s 12 DPO and got a BFN twice in the last few days. AF due in two days so now just going to wait out until Friday and wait if I miss it or not and then take a clear blue digital test. Previous tests were cheapies from eBay so not sure if they’re 100% reliable! I’ve had implantation bleeding, cramping and now getting slight headaches and nausea! Also craving carbs and breasts have become tender. All seems to be heading towards AF and difficult for me to differentiate however the cramps are more stabbing short bursts of pain on my left side. Will wait and see, if not it’s only the first month we’ve tried!

Hi ladies, how's everyone doing? I think I'm about 2dpo today, if I did ovulate. Had the positive opk Saturday morning so guessing Sunday possibly was the day I'd ovulate, but who knows.
We dtd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening, but just since Monday I've had more ewcm, pink tinged. I don't usually get ewcm after ovulation which makes me think maybe I didn't ovulate? Who knows hey! Dh wasn't up for it last night though.
Anyway, I did read up about slight bleeding during ovulation isn't unheard of, but I've never had it before, so seems strange it's on month 1 of ttc!
It's so strange, like your body just starts doing all this strange stuff it wouldn't normally do! Mind games! 😂
Not feeling very hopeful for this month.
How's everybody else doing?

No idea what's going on anymore, my brain is all over the place, my temp indicate I ovulated yesterday, 2 different brand opk tests say no, pregnancy test was negative.
Don't know what to think

Sorry meant to add, came off mini pill on 15th August, according to my app was due to ovulate that weekend (wasn't plotting tmeps at that point or opk so can't know).
Had withdrawal bleed that weekend but nothing since, no signs or symptoms since either

That’s a little different @claireb707. I would hold off for a couple days and test again in 3-4 days and if still nothing see your GP. It could be that your body is still adjusting since coming off the pill. I haven’t yet tested since but hoping to Friday, fingers crossed it’s positive but hard to tell! I have been feeling really tired lately but I’ve heard it takes at least two weeks sometimes to even get a positive?! Is this right

Any suggestions or tips and advice would be great. My cycle is usually 31/32 days and I ovulated for definite on 23rd August 😊

Also @claireb707 which tests are you using? I found the ones from eBay to be great and they are pretty cheap too. Worth a try for definite.

Tried a clear blue digital dual hormone and a cheapy amazon one (claimed it was same as used by NHS).
Preg test was same amazon cheapy (was a twin pack opk and Preg)

Just noticed I've been going to the loo a lot more than normal, though not drinking any more than normal.
Is this a coming off pill sign or something else
