Possible chemical??

Please help a very confused person! Currently TTC #2, been trying since April, current CD 28 and AF due tomorrow. I tested yesterday on two separate tests at different times, neither using FMU and got faint positives on both tests. Was v excited so told DH that things were looking positive.

Fast forward to this morning and I did a FRER with FMU and absolutely no line whatsoever.

I’m absolutely crushed and hate myself for getting myself get excited yesterday. I’m presuming it’s a chemical pregnancy and HGC was probably already declining yesterday - any insights or words of wisdom from you wise lot?

Anyone??!!

Ahhh @Minibea I don't have any words of wisdom for you but I just wanted to comfort you if I could. Chemicals are horrible - you get that rush of hope and excitement, and then it all comes to nothing which is so upsetting.

There's nothing you can do except wait a couple of days and test again - you probably know already that so many things can affect a test result (dilution of urine etc.) but I would have thought you'd get a decent positive at this point in your cycle.

Thanks @RedPandaFluff that’s really kind of you. I was so hopeful this cycle whereas I haven’t been in previous cycles so I think that all makes it seem worse. Now I know it’s not happening I just want to get my period so I can let go of all hope this cycle 😞
