Bleeding after coil removal

I had my coil removed Thursday, a little spotting for an hour or so afterwards but then nothing.

We DTD every day since Wednesday and last night I bled a little during/afterwards. Just a smidge. This morning I bled again, used a tampon but it didn't even half full a regular (it really hurt to take out). My cervix is high and firm but slightly open.

No more bleeding but a constant ache from my left ovary.

I'm overthinking everything as I've had a very difficult couple of years due to endometriosis and having several laparoscopies.

What's going on? Is it just random stuff due to the removal of hormones. Is there any chance my body is actually doing what it's supposed to for a change? Am I just being OTT?

I had my coil removed 17th July. Bled for 5 days. Dtd many times since had multiple bfn. Unsure when our bodies go back to normal thing everyone is different. The nurse did say it can take up to a year for the cycles to regulate. :)

I didn’t bleed for 6 weeks after coil was removed! Was all lined up ready to go to the dr and then af arrived! On my second cycle now and I think I ovulated last week so waiting to see if af arrives next weekend. Just assumed my cycles would go back to normal as soon as the coil was removed. Wish I’d got it out earlier! Would love a baby next summer.

Hi, I had my coil removed on the 18th July and two days later had a huge bleed for 10 days. Not nice... but then a few days later had ovulation symptoms.
I did a pregnancy test on Thursday and it was positive.

Apparently when the coil is removed you can immediately have a surge of fertility like with the pill.

I'd recommend tracking signs of ovulation and possibly using ovulation tests if you're keen to conceive.

I'm 41 and was MEGA surprised to be pregnant (understatement) 😬😬😬

Hi, I have endometriosis too and have had 2 laps. Had my mirena removed 3 years ago in the Jan, bled a little straight away but didnt have a proper period. I used opks anyway to track ovulation and I got pregnant first cycle. Sadly we miscarried but again tried the following month and got pregnant, we have a 2 and half year old now. Just wanted to share that things can go back to normal immediately and can be successful. We are now trying again and got my mirena removed on 12th Aug, got my positive opk 2 days ago but sadly missed our chance as dh was working away but onto next month.
Maybe try using opks to get a better idea of what's happening? Good luck xx

Thank you guys so much for your responses. If all but given up on this thread.

Congratulations @Hardheadedwoman39 that's amazing news!!!!

I'm either having early symptoms similar to DC1 or I'm close to AF. I have hoped and prayed for a surge at removal (we DTD every day for 3 days leading up to and 5 days afterwards just in case 🙈)

God I would just love a summer baby too @Banoffeepie91 🙏🏼

I've been using OPKs @MrsSkr , but each test is up and down I can't make sense of it 🤷🏻‍♀️
