Ttc almost 2 years. On Clomid but feeling so fed up

Hi guys, i just need some positive words and to hear from anyone going through something similar. I have been ttc for almost 2 years now. Been recently diagnosed with PCOS and am taking Clomid. I’m on my third month and feeling really disheartened. I’ve only got 3 more attempts then the treatments over and I’m left with IVF.

I just feel so negative about it all. I don’t even bother testing now. I just wait for AF and sure enough every time it shows up. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and literally been tested for everything. I just don’t get it. My scans show large follicles and I even have a trigger shot to force ovulation but it’s not working :(

Anyone else in a similar situation?! Or successfully conceived after a few months on Clomid?

When I read this I felt everything you had written were exactly my thoughts and fears at the start of this month.

I’ve been trying to conceive for almost 4 years. One year was taken up with operations to have a septum removed however this year we began clomid. Time was taken to get the right dose etc and I’ve been very lucky to have each cycle monitored. I also have PCOS.

July was my 3rd clomid cycle and just like you, I was fed up of wasting money on tests so just waited for AF to start. Nothing happened for a good week and to our disbelief we got our first BFP (first in nearly 4 years!) a few weeks ago.

Don’t lose hope, it can happen. Are you having each cycle monitored so you know when you have ovulated? I feel this was key for us so our timing to DTD was on point. But also, this time round we were more adventurous in the bedroom and that could have also played a part.
