Hi fellow ttc-ers.

I’m 9dpo on cycle 8 of ttc baby #2.

No real symptoms at all. A few cramps, I’m hungry and generally I’m just in an absolutely foul mood.

Anyone want to join me on route to test day at the end of the week?

So everyone what do you think I should do....

• positive ovulation test Sunday 11th August.

-AF was due Friday 16th August(12 day luteral phase usually)Cramps like AF was coming back end of last week.

• I also got a positive ovulation test on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15th

-BFN with a FRER on Sunday 25th August -Today - 4 days late and still no AF. No cramps anymore either.

I really don’t want to test again to be disappointed but I hate not knowing what I should do!! I don’t think I am pregnant but don’t understand why AF hasn’t t turned up!!

Has anyone been in a similar position before?

@may2311 I don't know what to suggest! If you're regular normally then if it were me I'd probably test again in a few days but work on the assumption that you're not pg?

I don't know much about OPKs but it sounds like they're messing with your head a bit this cycle so maybe try to ignore those until you're definitely into your next cycle.

Have you started taking any vitamins this month or anything? Heard from a couple of friends that they can mess with your cycle?

@sofiathe2nd I am taking vitamins but been on them a while. I actually think I might just stop using them fullstop! 😂 I think you are right. I’ll wait till the weekend and test again if AF hasn’t arrived. It’s just so frustrating! I can accept my BFN I just want AF to come so I can get started with next cycle!!

@May2311 oh lovely, it must be so hard, It's difficult because your body will do all sorts of things when your under stress, including delay AF, take a day or 2 and test again!

I took vitamins for a few months and stopped taking them as they really messed up my cycle! Just take folic acid now!

@May2311 you poor bugger, your body is being an absolute cow! I was four days late once and at still came for me. The hope that came with it was awful. I hope it’s a bfp and that’s why everything is delayed.

@Chefwifelife if only it is a BFP- perhaps only in my dreams 😪 it's good to have this thread for me to vent in! Thanks everyone😊 xx

@Chefwifelife Exactly the same. No sign at all🙈 I will test Friday as I'll be a week late then. When it comes up BFN again I will be at a loss of what to do but nothing I can do to force AF to come!!

How are you doing? Has AF finished now? Have you got a plan for the next month? X

Or it could be a lovely bfp @May2311 ! Have you been this late before? How many months of ttc? Af well and truly done. Weirdly had some ewcm and odd ov pain. I have forked out for ovusense and going to try it the next few cycles and see how we go

@Chefwifelife never ever been late before! Maybe like 1 day but never this much- our bodies are awful! This is my 3rd PROPER cycle but been off contraception since early this year in preparation. That is odd if you don't usually get it. When are you expecting to ovulate? I might end up testing in the morning- if I am pregnant it must show up by tomorrow I would think- surely waiting till Friday will make no difference! X

@Chefwifelife also ovusense is that similar to pre seed?

@May2311 that is late! I normally ov around cd16-18. To be honest if you test this morning, and you’re sure of your aprox ov date then a bfp should defo show. We’re here for ya if it’s a bfn.

Ovusense is an interval bbt monitor. So I’m going to use that instead of opks.

Not bad! No update going to test in the morning and then ring the doctor if nothing by next wed! I just don't understand. I'm trying to not get stressed by it🙈

@Chefwifelife 😂😂😂 well I tested and it was BFN! Have no idea what's going on but I'm just gonna try and forget about it for the next week and speak to docs if no AF by next week! I actually feel ok about it- I already knew really. It's just not knowing when AF will arrive!! When are you due to OV?

Ahhhh that must be so frustrating! Definitely go to the doctors if no AF in the next few days - even if just for some answers / reassurance x

Oh @May2311 that’s crap! I hope the witch turns up so you can crack on with your next cycle. My cycles were awful when ttc DS. Between 29-52 days!

Cd8 here and the first night of using ovusense. My bbt is way lower than I was getting using the thermometer!

@Chefwifelife ooo good luck! How strange is that- you wouldn't think it would be so different! You DTD every other until positive OV?

Morning everyone! I’m actually feeling fine. Just no AF😂 I think because I know I’m not pregnant and I have a plan to see the docs later this week if still no AF I’m feeling a lot better.

How’s everyone else? I agree I always find the TWW upto OV quite boring! Xx

Don't get too disheartened before ov. With my first we DTD the day AF finished and got pregnant then :) so worth a try :)
