Clomid - extending your LP

I have taken my first month of clomid. My period was predicted for 10dpo but it hasn't arrived. I'm not 14 dpo with creamy white cm which i always get before af but still no af.

Does clomid extend your LP?

I wasn't told that lengthening your cycle was a side effect of Clomid, but your symptoms are sounding positive... cautiously optimistic for you!

Are you taking progesterone? I was prescribed this to support my LP because I have spotting before AF. This may be the reason.

A 10 day LP is a bit on the short side, so it may be a positive if it has lengthened a bit.

I've been told to wait until 15dpo before taking a test, unless AF arrives first.

that's very kind thank you. i think because i am having all the same cm i get before af i am out this month and it hasn't worked but yes, i have never ever gotten to a 14 dpo before so that's positive if nothing else.
traditionally in the last three months my lp has been 11 days but this month i ovulated really late so it was predicted to be only 9days.
who knows.

My LP always seems to be the same, so if I ovulate a bit later then my AF due date is pushed back a bit. So perhaps if you ovulated late, count 11 days from then.

Having said that, it turns out I don't always ovulate despite having pretty regular cycles (29-33 days, usually 30 or 31).

Thank you. I ovulated cd 20 which is a couple of days later than i have been known to though i always ovulate between 18-20. 11 dpo would take me to Friday and I'm still nothing. I just wish it would arrive to put me out my misery and stop me secretly getting excited. There's nothing worse after it arrives and you've been secretly excited, always feel so stupid!
