Does anyone have any experiences of miscarrying after taking Clomid, and then gone onto have a successful pregnancy next time around?
I was prescribed Clomid as I am only ovulating on one side, to help strengthen ovulation. I got pregnant the first month of using it, but had a mmc at 9 weeks, and subsequent testing showed that the fetus had trisomy 21. I am wondering whether it’s a good idea to take Clomid again as it caused a chromosomally abnormal egg to be released which was then fertilised. My consultant said it was just a random chance thing, and while I trust him I am feeling particularly unlucky at the moment and am scared this could happen twice. Does anyone have any words of advice/experience to share? Thanks! x
