2 x BFN but no AF!

Hello!

Has anyone experienced BFN and still been PG?

I did a clear blue digital 4 days before AF was due, then again when I was 2 days late. Both negative. I'm now 4 days late and no sign of AF! Although I've had mild cramps and backache.

I usually have very regular cycles but I do have mild PCOS.

Any advice?

Get first response, they are more sensitive. I'm talking about the early test one, not the rapid test one.

@Veryveryverylate thank you so much for the advice! I'll pick some up tomorrow!! I'm sure when I had my daughter I didn't test until I was a full week late. I need to stop being so impatient!

I'm in the exact same situation @Tdmama! Since period came back in May (a year after having DD) they've been fairly regular, but I'm 3-4 days late and still testing negative using One Step.

I'd obviously be disappointed if AF came now, but would rather that than just skipping it altogether this month. How would I know when I'm ovulating next month then?

@momo01 exactly!!! I'd rather AF to at least know where I am.

How long have you been trying? Did you conceive quickly last time?

This is our second month. With DD, we conceived the second month, so quite quickly. I kind of expected the same this time, and felt all sorts of positive physical symptoms (lower back pain, one-sided small cramp, etc.) so got myself excited, so all the negative tests have been surprising in a bad way.

What about you?

I've had another negative today Sad I'm going to book to see the GP as she wanted to do a review given the PCOS diagnosis. My periods have always been regular so I was hoping the PCOS wouldn't affect my fertility.

We conceived within 3 weeks of coming off the pill with DD. I've been off contraception since April so we've been trying since then, but not actively trying if that makes sense. More if it happens it happens... I'm worried stressing over it will make it less likely!

How many days late are you now?

I think 3-4 days late, assuming 30-day cycle. I must've done close to ten tests this month Blush but going to try hold off for a day or two.

I hope your GP appointment goes well, and perhaps you'll test positive in the meantime Smile

@Tdmama oh boo, AF today. This was a stonking 35-day cycle, so perhaps I'm not that regular after all. I've decided to get OPKs - just cheap One Step sticks for now - for next month, to help me actually know when I'm ovulating.

@momo01 oh I'm jealous!! At least you know where you are!! I'm on day 41 but no signs. I work in a hospital so I've been over to women's health today and they've done a test on their machine which is more accurate. Another negative! Hopefully AF will turn up soon so I can start tracking!

I am 8 days late ..took two test 4 days ago both -ve. I am bloated as hell and have niggling stretchy feeling/sensation on both my sides. anything bitter/sour or icy cold taste really good to me. Don't want to test as I scared. I would REALLY love it if I was pregnant as my 45th birthday is in 4 weeks. It would be a super nice birthday present! ( I have 4 kids, youngest 14 going on 40. Been trying for three years for another little one, no luck)

Hi I’ve just joined and found this thread. I know it’s a little old but I’m going through this just now. My cycles have been 30 days last two months this while being on Clomid. I’m currently on day 42 approx 22DPO. No sign of AF. My temps are still high and the nausea at night is horrible. Apart from that not many symptoms. Been getting BFNs. How did you all get on. I’m 33 a little overweight (which could be causing the issues) and this would be my first.

Hello! I'm new here. I am currently 2 days late and 2 negative tests. Ttc for 5 months, already have a Dd with previous partner. Trying with new partner of 2 years. Last month I was testing positive 5 days before af was due and then had a chemical pregnancy. New month, and I'm 2 days late with negative tests. Not sure if this is normal? Feel like I'm just waiting for the inevitable to happen xx
