Implantation bleed or period?

Hi Everyone 👋🏼

My periods are always a 28 day cycle with my first day always a normal full bleed.

I was due on Saturday (10/8).. I wiped and saw blood so thought it had started. But then only saw little bits in knickers and when I wiped but not a full bleed like I normally see.

This continued sat/sun/mon... then on Tuesday it started fading. Nothing today (Wednesday).

I took a test Tuesday evening and again Wednesday morning and both negative.

Could this be an implementation bleed? But I’ve read it tends to happen before period is due and also read that pregnancy tests can pick up from day of period. I also read that if it was an Implantation bleed that after 2-3 days the hormones are high enough for a positive result.

I have a lot of cramping today.

Any advice please?

Did you do a digital test or just a standard cheaper one? Only asking because I was told by a nurse that the digital ones ate more sensitive and can pick up HGC levels earlier. It's a killer for someone to say 'wait a bit longer and test again' ect when you are actively trying and excited to know isnt it. So hope you get your answer soon x

I was the same.. couldn’t remember which way around the letters went so I settled using “hormones” instead 😂
But I just used the cheap Tesco’s own brand. I did another last night (negative) just to get the my last one in the house out the way so I wasn’t tempted every hour to re-test 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hopefully I get hold off until next week..
I’ve No other symptoms (I noticed symptoms pretty earlier with my little girl) so worried if there’s another reason as to why I’ve had a super-duper light bleed this month. Worrying Wendy over here 🙄
But thank you.. when I re-test I’ll get a digital one xx

I've told lots of people this story but with my 2nd I actually went to the doctors and tested negative, walked out of the doctors with this gut feeling, picked up a digital test and it was positive. So I know what the nurse said about digital tests is true.

Aww thank you! That’s good to know. Hopefully I can have the same out come! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Would you recommend any particular digital test?
Do you think it’s possible to have implantation bleed on the day my period was due though? Dyiiiiiiing to go buy another test right now! 😢 x
