Too much sex?

Cycle 1 of TTC so may be a stupid question...
Can sex too often reduce the sperm quality?

Haven't yet pinpointed exact day of ovulation so just doing it every day and hoping for the best!

We DTD every day after cycle day 10 - up to my BFP.

I thought of it as sperm meets egg on steroids, but it was more because we wanted to than felt we 'had to'

I had fertility issues and my consultant told us to try for every other day.
