Hey everyone! If you don't mind I would love it you would share your BFPs!

I'm only on cycle 3 of trying to conceive but already it's such an emotional struggle. I'm generally upbeat but would love something to look at on those days I feel like it's never going to happen.

So if you don't mind please share your picture, stories and joy with me, and anyone else needing a boost.

Big thanks in advance.

I'm on cycle 3 too, and feeling the same! Mind if I camp out for positive stories?

FatAndFurious7 · 12/08/2019 22:25

Exactly the same here - cycle 3 and AF expected today. Tested this morning and negative :( need some positivity too

Marshmallow1992 · 12/08/2019 22:29

I was ttc for 9 months. Every month AF would turn up and I’d be devastated. I turned into an absolute maniac every 2ww; symptom spotting, testing early.. I drove myself insane! I genuinely believed that it would never happen for me - my anxiety went through the roof. It was cycle 9 that I fell pregnant and I’m now 16 weeks. It will happen for you and I hope that it’s sooner rather than later but if not soon then please don’t try to panic (easy for me to say now I know) but the NHS advice is that it takes healthy couples anything up to a year.

Good luck in your journey.

@Marshmallow1992 thank you for sharing that. It's just nice to know that others struggled but got there. Really appreciate you sharing that! How is your pregnancy going? were you taking any vitamins?

@tinyole I was taking folic acid and a separate vitamin d but the month I conceived I started taking pregnacare. I’m not sure if it was just coincidence that I fell that month but also that month DH started the wellman tablets. I’ve had a horrendous pregnancy so far, got diagnosed with hyperemesis and I’m really struggling to get through daily life. I’m so grateful to be pregnant but it’s really tough.

You will get there. All I kept hearing was people announcing their pregnancy and I kept wondering when is that going to be me. As each cycle went on I genuinely thought it would never happen. I know 9 months isn’t a long time compared to some people but it felt like an eternity to me. Keep your head up and think positive thoughts. We also dtd every other day opposed to everyday and DH told me he thought this was best as when doing it like this it felt like more was coming out 😂 opposed to every day.

Hey.
I got PG in March and sadly had a MMC. It was awful, I was almost 9 weeks when it happened. Anyway, I was a week late and took a test and it was a BFN. I was miffed and carried on with my day (after a silent weep) and when I went back upstairs I picked the test out of the bin and I thought I could see a line. So 5 tests later and FR confirmed my BFP.
Obviously, I have a million weeks left to my 12 weeks scan (which is excruciating, because I know what can go wrong 😭) etc but if it can happen for me (34, PCOS) then I'm sure it will happen for you. Wishing you the very very beat of luck. Xx

Hi
I've been there. First pregnancy cycle 5 (age 31) & ended with a wonderful little girl. Second - cycle 1 followed by MMC. Third - cycle 7 followed by MC. Fourth - cycle 3 & I'm currently 25 weeks hoping for the best. I'm now 34. During the third try I felt very low like it wasn't going to happen & that the first must've been a fluke/miracle. Due to anxiety about it I asked my dr for a womb scan to check all was in order & my husband had his health & sperm checked (he's 9 years older) . I took folic acid & evening primrose. My husband took zinc. Seek all the reassurance you can if it makes you feel better, even at this early stage. Once you've set your mind to it & it's "not happening" it can be a testing time. Wishing you lots of luck x

I'd also like to camp out for positive stories please, on cycle number 3 TTC number 1, started spotting on Saturday and has been a bit every day since then which just makes me worried about low progesterone levels and then just assume it's never going to happen to me. I just want AF to arrive now so I can move on and concentrate on cycle 4, I'm finding that the negative thoughts can be overwhelming.

It's so nice to see other people's BFPs x

emmalou19 · 13/08/2019 18:46

Ok I just took a FRER and it has shown up... Surely not?

Pip231018 · 13/08/2019 18:58

@emmalou19 A BFP? Congratulations. X

emmalou19 · 13/08/2019 19:19

Yeah, I don't think it will let me post because I only recently reinstalled the app for moral support! X

Pip231018 · 13/08/2019 19:29

@emmalou19 That is amazing. I'm really happy for you. X

ryanreynolds · 13/08/2019 19:31

I remember this feeling well, it took me 11 months including one MC.

When I started, I understood the whole sperm + egg = pregnant but didn't actually know what happened.

I can't find the exact video on YouTube but this is similar - - basically it shows that it's actually pretty tough for the sperm to get to the egg, and with only one egg a cycle, it shows it's harder than you'd think!!

X

mrslaurenbrown · 13/08/2019 20:39

I'm going to join. TTC for 7 months. Fell pg last month but ended in mc. Feeling down and stressed. Will it ever happen?! Suddenly everyone around me irl is having babies!

Ginmonkey84 · 14/08/2019 08:18

Nearly 12 years for me to get a BFP naturally! Had IVF in between that resulted in my gorgeous babies. Told we had no chance of conceiving. Conceived in April 19 we weren’t trying but not preventing as we didn’t think it was possible unfortunately resulted in miscarriage but we got pregnant again straight away and I’m now just over 9 weeks. An absolute miracle. So please don’t give up hope 💕
