If he can't ejaculate

NC. Apologies if this isn't the right board - we are not actively TTC but hope to in the future. However I worry due to an issue my husband has - he finds it very difficult to ejaculate during sex.

In fact he doesn't ejaculate with me at all, though I think he must masturbate on his own. He's had the problem for about 2 years now, he blames it on tiredness, low blood sugar (he's diabetic). He won't go and see the doctor and gets angry if I make an issue out of it. In the past two years he's probably ejaculated during sex 2-3 times, with the last time being 6 months-ish who.

I worry that this will mean it's very hard for us to conceive a child. We don't bother with contraception as he never ejaculates anyway, plus even if by some miracle he did and we conceived, it would be ok. So I just wondered if any other women have been in this position, and what they did to actually conceive?

If he’s masturbating it’s probably the death grip. If he quits doing it over time he should be able to ejaculate during sex.

This is called delayed ejaculation. There's lots on this online of you give it a google. It may be related to physical causes (I'm not sure or not if diabetes is one of them, but anti depressants is) or psychological causes. If he previously was ejaculating normally then I think your chances are good they he can get back to that again.

If not, all is not lost with TTC. He can 'get himself to the point of no return' by masterbating, then enter you at the last minute. This or use a pot and syringe.

If he can't ejaculate at all (even by himself) he should go to the drs though as I think only they will be able to help.

Good luck! X

My partner has delayed ejaculation, but he has to masterbate to make himself cum.
Sex just doesn't do it, no matter how good it is for him.
