Hi everyone,
I'm new here and just wanted to add this message because I think it's quite important to share my experience.
After hearing a lot about how reliable FRER (First Response Early Result) tests were I decided to use it to test.
On 9DPO I decided to use my first FRER test and to my amazement I had what I thought was a faint PINK positive test. Out of shock I then decided to take the second test out of the packet and dip it (please note this is all with the exact same urine sample). This test came out stark negative. I was extremely confused so opened a second pack of FRER and dipped a third test. This test came out with a faint pink POSITIVE!
Needless to say I dipped the fourth test and yep you guessed it...NEGATIVE!
Because I was completely confused I opened a third pack (I had already stocked up from Amazon) and dipped a test in water. To my amazement it came up with a very faint pink positive line. I noticed that on some of these tests if you look really closely there is already a faint line on an un-used test.
I think this is so bad for women who are trying to conceive like myself and really rely on these "faint" lines to indicate an early pregnancy.
For a test that poses to indicate pregnancy "6 days prior to missed period" they should not be selling tests with fake faint positives.
Please just be aware of this. As I said it was not a "Chemical" because I used the exact same urine sample PLUS a glass of water! The lines were also pink although very faint.
Hopefully this might help anyone else who had had this experience and was confused as I've seen a few posts on here already of women having similar experiences.
Please just be cautious as if I had not taken the second test I would genuinely believe I was pregnant.
